Ordered 2 items online using $20 off $20 coupon on last day. Said 2 items in stock, pickup in Bedford store. Next day, received an email one item was sold out. Only took $10 off in-stock item, despite $25 price. When I went to the store and explained what happened, the manager in a very curt tone said they couldn’t fix or honor coupon in store. I could have accepted that (even though it’s totally wrong), but her demeanor was borderline rude. When I told her she could keep the merchandise I was going to buy because her tone was unpleasant, she changed some and said her store manager might be able to do something and she would contact me (which I’d prefer not). I can’t believe a manager at Talbots doesn’t have the authority to make something right for a customer! A 20-something kid at DSW fixed a coupon problem for me a few weeks ago, no trouble and very pleasant. Terrible customer service Talbots!

Went into the store this morning, shortly after it opened. Saw 2 employees, 1 of the employees were helping a customer. I walked around a bit waiting to be greeted with customer service. The employee that was not helping the other customer continued to walk on and off the sales floor working. I walked around a bit more towards the front of the store. I think I did about 4 or so laps around the store. I noticed the 2 employees were free of customers. I was in the store for about 10 minutes. I watched a customer enter the store and be greeted by the sales employee. I couldn't figure out why I was being ignored so I left and went to the store behind them called Alapage. I was greeted within 10 seconds of entering and explained what I was looking for. She was friendly & helpful which was a successful experience since I bought an item. Please, I urge Talbot to go next door and take notes

Maybe I visited the store on the wrong day, but I didn't receive the type of customer service I used to receive. I counted at least 4 people working at the time, but I still had to ask for help with a changing room after acquiring a heavy load of garments to try on. Then, I couldn't get any help when I needed different sizes. Since I was only one of two customers there, I was expecting a little more help. However, the four workers were more focused on cleaning since it was almost closing time. Too bad really, because I need some business outfits, but only left with a couple items.

Rude customer service. They hand pick condescending women who never greet you when you come in. Every time I come in the store, I have a feeling that the women working there assess my financial situation and decide in their heads if I can afford “their” clothes. I’m done with Talbots in Bedford. Rude. Rude. Rude.

I went to return an online purchase that was defective. I was told I could not because the tag was removed. By the online paperwork it does not state that for a return. Then to add further insult the person waiting on me said that the pants look worn for a long period of time and the co worker agreed. I was humiliated in front of other customers. I bought the pants May 6th waited for them to be delivered tried to wear on the 17th and noticed in the sunlight they looked like they were run over by the clothing rack. Tried to return in Bedford store May 22.Those employees are so insulting I will never go back there and they shouldn’t be allowed to demean customers like that.Thank you to the nice lady in customer service that I spoke to. She made me feel like a truly respected appreciated customer.

Twice I have come now to pick up a shirt I already paid for, and both times a sign is posted that they are not open. No info on when they will reopen. EXTREMELY inconvenient.The posting on google shows regular business hours, shows that they're open. With no mention of being closed. Not a good way to treat your local customers!!!! The usual New England provincial treatment.

I must be going to the wrong store!!! Never ever acknowledged when I come in. Never asked if they can help! Only customer in the store with at least four employees. Walk right by me without even saying hello! Great clothes but I'll shop online!!

I went to Talbots in Bedford NH today and was extremely Disgusted!!! I was approached by one salesperson who was pleasant and helpful. As I was led around the store the other saleswoman were looking at me as if I were a homeless person! I will not return,will drive to the Merrimack outlet store next time.
