I live in off-campus student housing, and this has to be the worst internet provider I've ever had in my life. This company not only has slow internet, but consistent internet connection issues.I've been completely without internet (ethernet or wifi)for more than a month now. Like plenty of other people in the reviews. they ask for "5 Days of Eligibility", and are NEVER transparent. They never send anyone out in any reasonable or considerable manner at all.The helpdesk people are out-sourced, and are practically useless as any information you ask from them, they don't know and what seems like reading off a script.After the first 3 weeks without internet and calling DAILY, emails to my property manager to get them to come out, and emails from myself, they finally decided to hire an individual contractor to come out. Yes, not a singledigits rep, but an individual contractor that has no clue what's going on.After this person unplugged and replugged a few ethernet cables, he deemed my equipment to be faulty, and handed it back over to singledigits. Annoyed, I knew what this meant. I'm going to have to wait another near-month before they even try and send anyone out again. And here I am, 2 weeks after they were supposed to send someone else out to replace a simple part, waiting on internet to be restored.Annoyed, I knew what this meant. No callbacks like promised, no emails, the helpdesk people don't know, nothing.Not even my property manager can get them to come out, they just flat out don't care if you're without internet or not.(To the person thats gonna be reading this review, my case # is 04172267). All I want... Is for them to send someone out and fix this. Please make it happen. Very simple to give the bare minimum to people paying you for a service.

This is by far the worst, and I mean THE WORST, business I have ever experienced in my life. I have been without cable for two and a half months now. To even get the problem documented correctly was the first issue. Every time I called, there was either no record of my call (mind you they give me a case number) or it was documented incorrectly and they thought it was a wifi problem. So, I had to spend another hour each time re explaining my issue. After two weeks of this, I requested a technician come out. After they asked for my five days of availability three different times and nobody came out, I finally got management of my apartment building involved. Even after management has emailed and called weekly, it has been over a month and still no technician has come out. Last week I was told they finally scheduled someone - they didn’t show up. Now, when I try to explain all this to customer service, they hang up on me. Don’t EVER do business with this company. I am in a student housing complex, so I have no choice but to work with this company. But if I had a choice, I would NEVER. One star is too much to give this company.

UPDATE to their comment which is NOT TRUE:They have responded to 1 email I have sent since my internet hasn’t been working and it gave no useful information. They said they rebooted the equipment in my unit but it still isn’t working so I’ve emailed them 2 more times and no response. And no one has been able to help me over the phone.I was NOT notified about why my account was deleted. I got an email that it was deleted and it took over 24 hours of me emailing them to get the email on how to set up another account in which they linked my account to the wrong unit, which is a safety issue (I could use the app to open the other units door) after I clearly stated what apartment unit I was in.At this very moment my internet has still not been fixed. I have already called and talked to someone again today and once again nothing has been done.Horrible company. My internet has not been the same ever since they randomly deleted my account a couple weeks ago and had to set me up a new one. I have sent 3 emails just like they say to do in their responses to other peoples reviews AND I have talked to at least 5 different people on the phone and my internet is still not fixed. They ask the same questions every time you call and try to “troubleshoot” you but NOTHING gets fixed. I have given my IP Address and Physical Address a million different times. They keep saying the “higher ups” are going to have to look into my issue but it’s been well over 24 hours and no update with a higher up whatsoever. The only reason I use them is because I’m in an apartment complex and have no choice unfortunately. If I could give them 0 stars I would. They have asked for my “5 day availability” every time I’ve talked to someone to have a technician come out and I said ANY TIME and still no update with that either.

This is the worst company I ever experienced in my life. I haven’t had wifi in my apartment for 11 weeks. Every time I call they say a technician will come to fix my internet connection and no one has came in 11 WEEKS. I hope this company goes bankrupt and no one ever gets to experience them ever again.

My experience with Single Digits has been nothing short of a nightmare. I've been trying to get my college apartment complex's WiFi fixed for a whopping 10 weeks, and it's been a constant struggle. Each time I call their customer support, I'm met with empty promises that someone will come to fix the issue the following week, yet no one ever shows up. This ongoing lack of follow-through has left me utterly frustrated.The consequences of this prolonged issue are significant. I can't stress enough how much it's impacting my academic performance. I'm unable to complete my assignments, access online resources, or even attend virtual classes reliably. My grades are taking a nosedive, all because Single Digits can't seem to provide a basic service – a functioning internet connection.Furthermore, the level of customer service I've received is abysmal. The representatives I speak to are polite but entirely ineffective. They offer apologies and assurances, but their actions (or lack thereof) speak louder than their words. It's as if they have no intention of resolving the problem or delivering on their commitments.In summary, my experience with Single Digits has been a source of immense frustration and disappointment. It's not just about the poor WiFi service; it's about their inability to address the issue in a timely and effective manner. This situation is affecting my academic success, and I can't believe that a company entrusted with providing essential services can be so neglectful of its customers. I would strongly advise anyone to think twice before relying on Single Digits for their WiFi needs.

Horrible company. I have had so many issues with them and the customer support is very unhelpful. My wifi was out due to for over a week with not updates or help. Even when I asked for updates they said they would call but never did. Rarely followed up and calls lasted for an hour plus just form them to "escalate" the issue and provide no help. I also had speeds of 2 Mbps download which is not what I was promised. When I spoke to the company they said they couldn't help me and did not provide help. Overall horrible experience and I would never do business with them again.Update 1 week later: nothing as been done I have been on hold for 30 plus minutes at a time and when/if I am connected they can not help. My internet speed as I type is at .87 Mbps. Slow internet speed is labeled as 15 Mbps and lower. I am currently at Mcdonalds as I can no long do any work from my residence. No help has been provided and I fear none will ever be provided. This is also after they has so called "upgrades" for my property but the service before was extremely better.

Update : I wanted to provide an update about my situation as single digits was able to expedite my request and send me a technicien home to solve my issue. I’ve felt a lot of frustration fighting the situation by myself at the beginning, but single digit management was able to turn that frustration into very positive feeling! They have been reaching out to provide daily update and follow up on wifi status after they have confirmed the technician visit date. The technicians that came were very very helpful, after they stepped into my apartment the first thing they said is that is they won’t leave until my internet issue is solved! That was extremely soothing! They found out that i didn’t have any access point in the first place which i have already explained to single digits when i communicated with them, and they were able to install the proper hardware i need. Very happy about the support i got, i put 4 starts as i think front desk support still need to be improved and communicate better with back office. Still thankful about resolution!I’m extremely frustrated by the the low quality service and the limited the support i am getting from single digit regarding wifi maintenance at my apartment, I’ve been calling for every single day for a month now, and i’m getting the same update which is “we are working to get a qualified technician for the work you need”, it’s not even a complex issue!!!I keep telling the agents that because the issue i’m having with internet is urgent now, i’ll be available everyday, and yet each time i call they ask me for my 5 day availabilities to schedule a tech.I’m also not getting an estimation on how long it might take to get a tech. This is starring to affect my work and personal life!I’m not sure if 1month old tickets are normal at this company but if it is, that’s really bad news for me!!

Absolutely the worst customer service.First the agent doubt if a MacBook can connect to an Ethernet cable cause there is no Ethernet port on Mac???exm, how can a technician don’t know there is something called port transformer.Secondly very impatient as if I own the agent money, I have to constantly check are you there? Are you there? Cause it just remain silent don’t know why.Suggestion: rebuild the customer service department with qualified people

Absolute worst customer support experience I've ever had. Constantly being put on hold, calls going on for way too long, the agents have no idea about anything other than reading their troubleshooting steps. The agents/technician dispatch don't do their jobs, I've had to constantly be calling in because my technician NEVER shows up, it's been over a week now since I reported the issue, the technician was meant to show up 2 days after I called but they didn't, even with me following up 2 or 3 times when the time slot passed!! It's now been 7 days and even though their technicians missed 3 dates to come fix my problem, I'm now being scheduled for 2 days later. Absolutely infuriating, terrible people and terrible service. When their service works, its fast and good but I pray nobody has to go through customer support, let alone get a technician at their house.Edit: Jason came to my unit and resolved the issue. I'm increasing to 3 stars because he was kind, helpful, and resolved the issue promptly. The customer support experience was awful, but the technician was excellent.

Is it possible to give a 0? Our building's internet has gone down twice in one month, the first outage lasting multiple days. Customer support gives the same form response and essentially refuse to send out a technician to the property. What could be fixed in an hour with a physical technician takes days because of their horrific service. It's simple, PRIORITIZE HUGE OUTAGES AND SEND PHYSICAL TECHNICIANS. Our internet was fine before they made their supposed "improvements" and now its spotty and unreliable. Make a stop at Emblem 120 and fix our systems once and for all.

Fantastic speeds and reliability under normal circumstances.However, the customer support has been atrocious. I have been fighting them for two weeks to replace the provided router in my unit to no avail and have been met with emails saying “the issue has been resolved” when nobody has ever been out to replace the hardware that is burned out and preventing me from connecting.

I have read through A LOT of these reviews and they all have a common theme. This company is helpful during installation and atrocious/nonexistent when problems arise and maintenance is required. Communication is a one-way street with this company and that is frustrating as a customer. I actually asked a tech rep today if there was even a supervisor or technician involved with her office. People should steer clear, if at all possible, ESPECIALLY if technology is a vital part of your livelihood or schoolwork. My issue was cable. After six days of trying to get a maintenance appointment, I am still being told that the technician hasn't responded to their email. That DEFINITELY doesn't pass the smell test. No phone call? Find another technician? Call me back and give me updates? NOTHING!!!

My partner and I live in a building with WiFi by Single Digits and I have not had a worse experience with customer service in my life. There is no communication from them regarding what’s going on with the system even in the off chance the WiFi actually works. I have called over 10 times in the past few weeks and have spoken with just as many agents who ask the same questions and never actually resolve the problem. The one time I was able to get a supervisor on the phone he promised me a call back which never came. I have since called them with ongoing internet issues and it has not been resolved and seems they keep passing the buck to someone else, there’s never anything they can do and it’s never their fault. This infuriating process keeps going around and around of temporary fixes and no accountability.If you have a choice of providers, do not choose single digits, for your own piece of mind.

Single Digits is legit the worse internet provider I've ever had to deal with. When moving into my apartment, I was very leery about being required to use such a badly rated company for internet services, but I really loved my apartment so I just hoped for the best. After being a customer for two years, I wanted to warn anyone who is thinking of using Single Digits for internet purposes.Cons: any time it storms outside, you will lose internet service. When you reach out to a CSR, they have little to no information on when services can be reconnected.Pros: noneTo be more specific, after the storms of this past weekend, I reached out to them after my internet was disrupted and was told that because it was a holiday weekend (holiday was on Tuesday), they couldn't get anyone out until Thursday (7/6) between 9-1 PM. Although I was extremely unhappy with that answer, I was understanding. Thursday comes and I speak with my apartment management and was informed that they have not heard any updates from Single Digits and did not know anything about them coming to the property. I called Single Digits a 2nd time and was informed that a technician would be out to the property and not to worry. At 2:30 PM on Thursday, I contacted the property management inquiring if Single Digits had come out to the property and was told no. I then contacted Single Digits and was told that, "We don't have any updates for you other than the technician is working on it." *Did I mention that management on the property stated no one from Single Digits was there working on anything?* Please note, they weren't fixing the issue remotely because I was told previously that the issue couldn't be fixed remotely and that a technician would have to come out.To make matters worse, my thermostat is connected to my Wi-Fi and because there's no Wi-Fi, I have no air conditioning( I've mentioned this to them several times). So imagine, the first week in July, temps are in the 90's and I have been with no air conditioning for 5 days. So if that doesn't make you want to steer clear from this provider, I'm not sure what will.

Being without internet service for over 13 consecutive hours is absolutely unacceptable. The consistent message of the fact that "our engineers are working on it and we will call you when it is resolved" without any details regarding the issue nor an estimated completion time (because they are not permitted to provide) is equally unacceptable. I will also add that no one ever called me when it was finally resolved. I kept checking at random times on my own and noticed when it was finally working. I do not recommend this company at all. I have never had an internet service provider to take this long to resolve an outage and their service was not as expensive as this one. Unfortunately my apartment complex has selected this company for our internet service and I have raised my concerns with them.UPDATE: I sent an email to the email address provided in your response. So I am waiting on a reply.
