I went to Hannaford on 101 in Bedford NH today 2/8/22. I was so disappointed in the staff. I asked for a rain check for split chicken breast they have on sale. The cashier said "we don't give out rain checks" I said I wanted to speak to the STORE MANAGER..She got the front end cashier, who also said NO RAINCHECK because of COVID... I asked for the store mananger..she then tells me he is on a conference call... OMG....I did not believe her for a moment.. I will NEVER go to this store again..I know now why there store is empty. The staff is HORRIBLE.

This is my go to pit stop when traveling in the area. It is right on Route 101, has ample free parking, a clean restroom with a diaper changing station, and friendly staff. Unlike the Starbucks in Philadelphia they do not care if you use the bathroom without buying anything. If I do happen to need a snack or something small I will get it while here, but prices are expensive as at all Hannaford's so you are better off doing your regular grocery trips at Market Basket.

Updated review to reflect the new location and improvements. They still do not staff enough front line reps but that is everywhere these days. I do miss the burrito station. I still get the pizza twice a week.

Little confusing to find anything, i am not a big fan of the way they are set up. Everyone that works up front is condescending. Typically prices on everything are higher, although shop around, i almost think they could buy from Market Basket and still make a profit here. Would not come here for beer, wine, lunch items or salad bar, or anything hygene related. Would come here for ethnic foods and ingredients, produce and to use the toilet on the way through to work.

If you're lucky enough to be able to pick where you get your meds filled, this is a great place to go. The meds might cost a hair more than at Walmart, but what you get in return is a set of pharmacists who know and recognize you, are extremely kind and helpful.
