“Very small compared to most of their stores, but it's very convenient. Items were a little harder to find but after a couple visits that shouldn't be a problem.”

“One of the nicer Hannafords in the area. They have a great selection, everything is very organized and they have a fun sushi bar. It's right in the heart of Bedford and close to a lot of other stores like Homegoods.”

“This is my go to pit stop when traveling in the area. It is right on Route 101, has ample free parking, a clean restroom with a diaper changing station, and friendly staff. Unlike the Starbucks in Philadelphia they do not care if you use the bathroom without buying anything. If I do happen to need a snack or something small I will get it while here, but prices are expensive as at all Hannaford's so you are better off doing your regular grocery trips at Market Basket.”

“Excellent large store with great produce, meats, fresh seafood, and yummy bakery. Also an extensive self-serve buffet, cooked while-you-wait foods, and fresh hot pizza. Fresh flowers and houseplants. Huge variety. Pleasant and helpful staff. Store is very clean, well-organized and well-stocked. Plenty of free parking.”

“Great staff but HORRIBLE floorplan layout splitting groceries and just counterintuitive designs that cross the strategic line beyond getting me to wander more I grow frustrated enough to wander out the door without finding more let alone what I came in for.”

“I love that Market Basket doesn't have self serve when checking out! I like to go to an actual cashier. The roasted chicken is great! Their orange juice is the best I've ever tasted!! The bakery is delicious! Wish they had paper bags like Whole Foods. I really don't like the plastic bags they have so I bring my own! Prices are very good!!The only complaint would be the attitude from employees there. Just went there. Said good morning to the cashier and silence! I said thank you and silence! She had attitude with the bagger as well! Cashiers are not friendly!!”

“Okay I'm going to be a little critical of whole foods. What whole food offers depends on which whole foods you go to. If you go to the whole foods up here in Nashua or Bedford. It's nothing to write home about. These two locations have what are considered low-income areas. I'm sorry I'm if that offends some, but that is a fact. The median income of Nashua is it's about $60,000 and the one up in Bedford the median area in Bedford itself is about 130,000 but the rest of the suburbs are nowhere near that. So the food you will find at least in the seafood area is no better than Hannaford or Market basket but prices are considerably higher than either. The meats are good. The produce is good but not outstanding. However if you go to a whole foods say in Bedford Massachusetts or closer to the Boston area, you will see a big difference. The quality is much better prices are pretty much the same but the quality is better. I felt that since Amazon took over whole foods the quality definitely has taken a second seat. My simple philosophy is if you want the quality that you used to get at whole foods and you're willing to pay the price by recommendation overall most definitely go to Wegmans. Wegmans is what whole foods was 20 years ago and then some.”
