Very unhappy with the 1 Atwood Ln, Bedford, NH branch. After 7+ years of going to the same location every month to cash a check drawn from an Eastern Bank account directly from their very own payment processing center, they told me they can’t cash it! Why? Eastern Bank Payment Processing Center does not put a payer’s signatures on the check. Eastern Bank does not have that policy written anywhere I could find, just one day this branch decided, after 7 years of going there monthly, not to cash a check drawn from their own bank payment processing center. I do have an Eastern Bank account, but have always cashed the check then deposited a portion of the cash. Their system is antiquated, there is no text options to check balances, recent transactions, so I use them less and less. Now, maybe even more so.

I've been an Eastern Bank customer for years now. Personal accounts, business accounts. My experiences at this Branch have always been positive. Two of my favorite Eastern peeps are Kelly Kahn and Frank Talarico. While I agree with others that I miss the days of "more convenient banking hours", I'm also well aware of how hard it is to find great workers these days. Further, we all know that balancing work and life is important. If I had my way, we'd close all our stores on Sundays again and force everyone to slow down a little and be grateful each week! Keep up the great work Eastern. I like your "Join us for Good!" motto!

You know Covid is over, you can go back to normal operations and serve customers during standard business hours of 9-5. The policy of closing at 4PM most of the week is absurd and the decision maker who has yet to reverse this decision should be fired.

I've been here a few times over the past few years when the location was more convenient than the Manchester branch or other branches I visit. One time I was trying to open a landlord tenant security deposit account and nobody knew how to do it. They called the support team and got it done but it took nearly 30 minutes.

Went here to get a document notarized. This notary refused to act because I do not have a bank account here. Very inconvenient. The TD Bank down the street quickly notarized my document.
