Outrageous. Manager and other employees were very rude. They were hovering the whole time even though my friends and I were just getting a forever bracelet. They asked my friend what she had in her pocket (it was her lipgloss), implying that we were shoplifting. They did not treat the other customers this way (we are not white). They said we were "enamored" with the bracelets and told us we should have them hold it for us. Can we not shop in peace? The only kind person was a teenager doing our forever bracelets. And, as we were leaving, Jen the manager asked if we paid, even though we were clearly at the register.

I think they have a nice range of boutique clothing at affordable price points. I just don't find it to be a fun shopping experience. Shoppping at a boutique is a relationship - I spend 3x as much when i have a helpful associate. I called the other day to find out if I could order a $200 top because they were out of my size. The woman who answered the phone acted like I was a pain in her derrière and no one called me back. Sadly, their MO. I want to give my business to local retailers so work with me. i ordered the top online.

Went into Talbot's store this morning, shortly after it opened. I walked around a bit, I think I did about 4 or so laps around the store. I noticed the 2 employees were free of customers. I was in the store for about 10 minutes. I watched a customer enter the store and be greeted by the sales employee. I couldn't figure out why I was being ignored so I left and went to the store behind them called Alapage. I was greeted within 10 seconds of entering and explained what I was looking for. She was friendly & helpful which was a successful experience since I bought an item.

We were taking a day trip up to Manchester and wanted to do some shopping. Unfortunately for us, it was a Sunday and we found out the hard way that most local stores were closed. My mother found a Talbots and wanted to check it out, so we headed there. While browsing around the same shopping center, we discovered Alapage tucked in the corner. And to our surprise, they were open!! This is a really cute boutique with different clothing, accessories and fun gifts to browse through. I even found myself a cute travel bag!! The ladies working here were very friendly, too! Alapage is a great place to burn a hole in your pocket!

Have been shopping here for years with always a positive experience. Recently I made a large purchase After noting an item was defective, I called immediately. When I went to return it, I wasn't greeted or treated in the same manner as I had during my purchase. The team member who assisted in the purchase and subsequent return was less than thrilled, handed me my receipt under the divider and walked away. Nothing more was said. The return was of no fault of my own.This experience was disappointing and makes me feel unwelcome in a store that II have always loved to browse and shop in.

All the ladies at Alapage are friendly and very in tune of how to help you when your looking for something for you or for a gift ! I always walk away satisfied with my purchase ! Worth checking out if your just browsing or looking for ideas.

I was searching for something to wear out to dinner for my anniversary. I went into Alapage and felt like I had a personal stylist. She helped me find the perfect outfit and even helped me select jewelry. I highly recommend Alapage Boutique! My husband gave my outfit two thumbs up too!

A couple weeks ago I visited this store to do some Christmas shopping because I heard they had a interesting selection of fine jewelry and clothes. I was very impressed with their merchandise, selling high brand clothes and very cute gifts, but as I was shopping the employees made me feel very unwelcome. The employees rarely helped me at all. They made my experience at this store very uncomfortable as they kept on staring at me the whole time I was in the store. It made it seem like they thought I was suspicious or did not belong there. I was very displeased at this one employee who looked me up and down as if I was less than. It is a really nice store, but not nice employees. There will be no next time as I will be taking my business somewhere else, rather than a store with employees who do not know how to treat customers.
