1 star is being generous, I recently lost my sister a few days ago the things have been pretty tough for me as it is, then I go to the store to purchase cigarettes and I'm told that my id is not acceptable (it's the paper copy as I recently renewed my license) I replied back that this was a legally issued ID you have got to be kidding me, that's when the "manager" told me that she didnt like the way I said it and that i needed to leave, only then my tone change as I repkied back again that I dont have a plastic copy, even still the paper one is legally issued from the state and it doesn't make sense that they would issue it but yet it not be an acceptable form of id, what would be the point. She said she didn't care and reiterated that she did not like what I was saying and that I needed to go somewhere else. This is an extremely small town, there's only 3 gas stations within 10 miles and 2 are privately owned, the other is this place the only Irving/circle k, whats even better is the fact that ive been coming to this store and giving my business to them for well over 20 years. I've seen numerous store managers over the years and not one has ever been so unprofessional, last I checked it she was hired to lead the company to success, not to put her own personal opinion and feelings above the company and thr responsibility entrusted to her. I'm an extremely nice, easy going person, in this case a simple explanation would have been my only expectation and I don't think it was unreasonable for me to point out the fact that it was a legally issued. Throughout this entire encounter the employee was looking at the manager unsure of herself and what to do, the "manager, who was 15 feet away on a step stool stocking cigarettes, who couldn't even be bothered to step off the ladder and come over and see what the problem is, let alone turn around but instead had her back to us nearly the entire time talking across the store in front me and a handful of other customers. Had she taking the time and respect to handle the situation properly, it would have ended entirely different then it did. Now your loyal customer of over 20 years not only will never give you business ever again but having to deal with this on top of grieving has only made my life that much harder, any I would ask anyone who can relate or even sympathize with my situation that they to would try to avoid giving you the business because the last thing we want to promote in such a small town is am undeserving business that has managers who will hard the companies reputation over there own beliefs and emotions. If it's the last thing I do on this earth I will make sure EVERYONE knows how you treat your customers treat your life long customers

Please revisit your customer service training with your employee Ben. I was there tonight around 9:45pm. I am hard of hearing. Ben was disrespectful, condescending, combative and unpleasant when I asked for help about the tap or insert my card. This kid even slammed his fist down on the counter.I’m sure it’s difficult dealing with tourist this time of year but this was very wrong. He needs some help.

Damn, dawg, Circle K is a terrible place. The lady working told she's forced to break the law and follow orders to be able to pay the rent. I asked "like the Nazis?" and she said yes and that I should call the police. A little more intense encounter than I expected at the gas station on a Wednesday night.

My wife and I are here on vacation and stopped in the Circle K today (7/5/22) and the two women who were working there were so friendly and helpful. Just two wonderful kind people. They went above and beyond to help us out!
