“Mixed up and technologically challenged, I had to ask for help from an attendant at Staples. I needed to print some important documents. I had a 'code', but somehow things kept getting mixed up and just could not get these papers printed! When I asked the young man for help, he came over, explained the one mistake I made (not sure that was true), but with a smile on his face, he magically made the 12 pages of documents appear! He was kind and I learned just what needed to be done for the next time. Not as difficult as I thought , and I think I might be able to do it on my own next time. I'm happy and a bit smarter..”

“Post office flying flag at night with no light Per us flag code American flags when flown on public property shal be lit up at night or taken in. as of today 3/23/23 6:00 am flag is dark. Out and not lit up let’s see when this gets taken care if I’ll be making my call today . Please remember a lot of man and woman fought and died for our freedoms and our flag please please let’s see it respected! The line was a little long but they got through it quick.I will say that the woman (I assume a manager) who came from the back and told the employees the employees to not wait until they were out of change to ask for more, could of used a little more class and less attitude. Those folks were working hard and provided top notch customer service.”

“I ordered a wood chipper that was being shipped to my residence in NH from Las Vegas. It took a little while for the item to travel across the country, due to weather, transfers, etc., but as soon as it arrived at the terminal in Massachusetts, I was contacted and a scheduled delivery day and time set up. The driver (Hector) and his helper arrived punctually, early in the AM the morning of the date agreed on. He was very friendly, considerate, professional, and did not leave until he was sure I was satisfied with the product and placed it exactly where it was convenient for me. Although the delivery person works for a company sub-contracted by Estes Express to deliver items for them, I could not be more happy with my delivery and great job Hector did!”

“The man that works here is always so helpful to me. He deals with all my package questions and we are starting to get to know one another well. The issue I run into is parking and getting in and out of the parking area. Because of the location in proximity to the light. Maybe there needs to be a do not block entrance signs, though we know they would be ignored.”

“I just moved to Plaistow. I had a large package to return, and I pulled into the post office and parked in the handicap spot. As i got myself,my walker, and my package out of the car, an employee came right outside and offered to take my package inside for me and take care of it. I was so impressed, courtesy like that is hard to come by!!! Kudos to the Plaistow post office!”

Was taken great care of while shipping my items. The fact that it has long operating hours even during the weekend was great given that I really don't get much time during the week.Plus, bonus points for having necessary items like small snacks/water etc.”

“I had a very positive experience with Postmaster Chuck Nichols of the Lawrence Post Office earlier this year. I have been trying to find a place to post this review.I had a package that was supposed to arrive in Europe in January. For some reason, it was shipped back to North Reading and then attempted to Europe again, getting as far as NY and then finally shipped back to MA ending up at the Lawrence Post Office, which is not where I had shipped it. Nonetheless, Postmaster Nichols located the package at his facility, which was not easy. I learned through tracking that this is where it ended up and Mr. Nichols searched his inventory until he found it.Additionally, he shipped it back to Europe for me free of charge. All of this occurred over the phone without my having to come in. It eventually arrived at its destination a few months late, but probably would have been lost forever without the help of Mr. Nichols. Needless to say, I am very grateful to him. For this reason and the fact that Mr. Nichols oversees this facility, I recommend the Lawrence Post Office highly!”
