every single time I've been in Walmart I have some sort of issue. today it was the cashier used my gift card and tried to send me somewhere else because it wasn't reading while speaking no English. the card had a known balance on it that was just checked and then they tried to convince me it had 0 dollars on it. the employees were super rude snatching the card out of my hand aggressively treating me like I was dumb when it was them who messed up. this store is a craphole and all the employees are rude and not helpful at all. I don't see myself going back

employees are rude and condescending and so is management. They are bullies and have nothing but social cliques here. When you question the bullying going on they circle you like sharks smelling blood in the water.

Ok, so I bought a $75.00 Google Play Card the other day to send to a friend that needed to buy food cuz he was running out. The card did not work at all. I am certain the card was placed at the store by a scammer. The Store Manager would not give me a new card or refund my money even with my receipt. Basically told me to deal with it with Google. WTF! I will never step foot in that store again. I will buy all my gift cards at Target, they told me they would have refunded me my money.

Update: talked to their loss prevention person who denies anyone is being stopped at the doors and detained... She also thought it was a laughable matter that I felt threatened by an older man. The detainment happened when he put his body blocking my ability to go forward and his putting his hand on my carriage to stop any movement. I had already handed the receipt to the girl. I thought of I didn't comply, he WAS going to hit me with the heavy duty hanger! Today as I was leaving a person DEMANDED to see my receipt. So I casually asked if I was being accused of shoplifting to which she said it's Private property and we need to see your receipt. So as I was pulling the receipt out of my purse, I said it's not private property because the public has access. Then another guy came up and blocked my carriage took a heavy duty hanger out of the carriage and was pointing it at me up and down and said you can not leave until we see the receipt.. Now I was being threatened because of the way he was yielding the hanger, blocking my carriage and demanding the receipt after I gave it to the girl. That was definitely assault as I felt threatened and kidnapping as they would not let me leave. Walmart needs to train their receipt checkers to prevent assault charges against them. As I was leaving the both of them were laughing! It's not a game people as I left shaking. I'm 65 years old and I checked out thru a cashier and everything was bagged up! I noticed the customer before me was young and they did not stop him from leaving but they didn't ask him for a receipt. So maybe a little age discrimination was thrown in also! If a police officer had been on the property at that time I definitely would have pressed assault charges!

The woman store manager does not care if you say anything to her the only response, she constantly repeats rather than answering any questions is you don't have to come back here you can go elsewhere. Everybody working in the store is subject to dress code regulations. Even when going outside in the cold Has to be Walmart approved anything worn. She's walking around in designer clothing. Non-Walmart brands and cares more about how she looks to others rather than caring about their experience shopping there.

I regularly go to this Walmart. Biggest concern is how often the shelf space for what I want is empty. It doesn't matter the time or the day of the week, common items are missing. Few examples, large tubs of low fat Walmart cottage cheese, quarts of Walmart half n half, Roll Gold pretzel sticks (Walmart brand are not nearly as good.). The store manager needs to be changed to get someone there who has a much better handle on inventory management.

If you want to find a place that caters to the worst dregs of society then look no further than the Walmart-Mart on Amherst Street. I worked there for an entire year until the 9th of February. Periodically throughout the year I had pranks pulled on me by other associates with my food or my personal belongings. I was outright bullied. I was even threatened with a bomb. Yet management did nothing about the bullying. When I tried telling them all I was told was, "we'll look into it." I was singled out because I kept complaining about what was going on and then given the most awful tasks. I was even made to push carts while battling the flu while their favorite associates were kept inside where it was nice and warm. This eventually triggered my ptsd because of all ion the bullying. I had a nervous breakdown. I asked for a transfer multiple times and was repeatedly denied. I had a nervous breakdown and I had to go into the emergency room for over a week. While I was out for a week they fired me. Even though I filed a medical leave of absence which is covered under the ADA. The store manager and his micro managers are nothing but bullies. The store manager then talked to me on the phone when I asked about my personal property because they had taken my personal property from me. He yelled at me on the phone and said in addition to him firing me he was going to make sure I was blacklisted for the rest of my life. If you have any plans of working here or shopping here I'd suggest you watch your back. They will be nice at first but then like a diamond back rattler. They will strike without warning. Both the store manager and a lady at the corporate office have informed me that since Walmart-Mart is an At-will employer they do not have to abide by arbitration agreements (even though I signed one), or the Americans with disabilities act.I have never been treated so badly by a manger or group of managers like I have while working at Walmart. They have effectively destroyed and eroded my ability to respect not just myself but others. When I had a nervous breakdown they nearly succeeded in destroying me.

Almost every employing leaving this job, they don't appreciated the good job employees do. The manager from the picking area suspended my daughter cause she got sick and she showed the medical documents. Wow what wonderful is walmart!

Grocery pickup takes about 1.5 on average. Just don't do it. Ordering for delivery is 50/50 if you'll get it on the selected day. Other than that it's just a Walmart like everywhere else.

I really don't care for Walmart and really never go there but they do have great sales and pretty much anything you need.

'Nasty Mary!" We couldn't find any hose in the gardening section so asked a check-out clerk. He didn't know and tried searching with his phone. No luck. Cue 'Nasty-Mary'. A mean-looking version of Granny on the Beverly-Hillbillies. Blue Walmart vest with name-tag. Asked her, politely, "Excuse me, can you tell me where to find garden-hose?" She looked over, sneered, and said in the nastiest tone possible "HOW SHOULD I KNOW!" Customer service has never been a Wallyworld hallmark but she has managed to bring it down into 'gutter-level' nasty. We won't be back.

Been waiting for one hour now curbside for my order that was purchased online. all the staff that came to my car said they couldn't find the name on the order or the order number and noted there was no manager on the clock to assist. Staff told me they would find someone to help and no one has come back. Poor service and poor system. Would not come back. Ever.
