They've gone down hill with their hiring of people.

I'd leave 0 stars but it's not an option, service desk was rude, not just to me but another couple as well. Was trying to return something purchased from Lowe's but didn't have receipt(Lowe's is the only place that sells said item) gave me a hard time and would not accept return, manager Adam was just as pleasant to deal with as well(sarcasm). The "front end appreciation" badges they adorned were certainly not earned...

Refridge man came out to look at leveling fridge. Said it needed a board. Went to Lowe's myself to find out why it could not be leveled the old way. The clerk actually tipped over the fridge so I could look at bottom. The fridge is constructed on 4 wheel and only two front anchors existed. I needed it to be leveled in the back. The clerk and I talked and measured and came up with possible plans. I was impressed.

The service here is absolutely awful! The selection is very limited! Overpriced! I ordered a stove and microwave set and still haven't received them though they are already paid for! Every time I call for assistance they put me on hold for five minutes then keep answering the phone and putting me back on hold! Total waste of money!

This is a great store. The employees are very helpful, there's always at least one checkout with a person, online orders to the store work great, its very well stocked, free cuts on lumber.

Been working with Lowes for only a couple of months and I am very proud to say. The store and company is my family now. I am proud to work here and proud to shop here as well. The stores selections are very flexible and the pricing also is too. The employees are all super nice and always looks out for not only the employees around them but the customers. Im proud to be not only a customer but a employee here. Thanks Lowes!!?

I am a long time Lowe’s customer and that is changing today. I ordered an LG Washtower on 7/22. I was assigned my delivery date and the delivery guys showed up and said “we drop this off on the street because you didn’t order installation.” I said we have “ free delivery” not “free drop off”. When he refused to take it in the house— I told him I can not sign and refused to have it dropped in the driveway. He left and put it in the notes “machines does not fit”. A phone call to the manager indicated this was not acceptable and that a more experienced crew would be sent. I got a delivery window of between 12-4 pm. By 4 pm they had not come but I was assured they would be there. At 6:16 pm, I got a text that they had finished at the last job and were on their way to me. By 8 pm, they were no shows. I called and was told that they had attempted delivery but no one was home. With two human beings in the house with cell phones, a door bell, a ring video camera and a dog—we apparently missed the delivery. I reviewed our camera footage—no sign of an attempted delivery. Lowes—your third party delivery folks don’t tell the truth and don’t appear to want to actually deliver. I am off to another store where the item is $100 dollars cheaper—and you can bet I will also purchase my refrigerator, stove, dishwasher and microwave from them.

I would assume this goes for ALL LOWE'S, I purchased a fridge on July28, it was supposed to be delivered on July 30. It came damaged and I refused delivery. In all fairness the fridge was probably damaged in the factory but here's where the horror story begins. I was told someone would call the next day and set up a second delivery. That call never came. I called the store on multiple days and customer service and was told the replacement fridge is in BOSTON and this was day four. Well, that's a great place to keep my food cold. They couldn't get a delivery date for me but I assumed it would take at least two days for the fridge to get to NH. I decided to cancel the purchase and go somewhere else. Next step, trying to get a credit for this purchase is like pulling teeth. I've called multiple times only to be put on hold for up to an hour and then promised "someone will call you back in 24 hours." lol We are going on day five days and all I've accomplished is a case number and another promise that someone will call me back in 24 hours. Oh, and IF THIS CALL DOES COME, a credit will take 7-10 days the credit will have to be researched!!! What kind of business protocol is this???? I obviously went to another company and purchased the same fridge and saved $200 plus I'm getting a rebate from the electric company which the Lowe's failed to inform me was available. Do yourself a favor, DO NOT PURCHASE MAJOR APPLIANCES FROM ANY LOWE'S. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE AND GOOD LUCK GETTING A CREDIT. I did call my credit card company and they put a "dispute" on the sale so I won't have to pay for interest should it get on my monthly statement. I told the entire story to the credit card company and they told me this has been seen, "across the board with retailers." Pretty sad. Lowe's needs to improve their customer service, procedures and protocol. I expected MORE from them! Instead I got the royal runaround.

Great place and very friendly staff I highly recommend it for in the Amherst area. Plenty of stuff to fix your house with.

Found the staff here very helpful and knowledgeable. There was always someone available when I had a question. Also appreciated the help in getting everything in our vehicles. Probably one of the best Lowes I have gone to.

It had what I needed at a reasonable price. Staff was friendly and assisted me when asked. My only issue is their protection policy which is not handled by the store but only online. That is not true customer service.

Feel like I use their online order pickup feature just about every other day. Very good in-person shopping experience, exactly what you expect from the chain. Wish they’d carry more 5gal Primo water refill/swaps as they’re frequently out on the weekends - seem to be a fairly high demand item around here.

Paul and his crew provide valuable solutions to the days questions. Like what stone do I need so a tour bus doesn't sink into the ground or what mulch looks best for an outdoor wedding!

As usual, makes their own rules. Waited for 15min for a manager to come to the register as we were trying to buy 2 chairs. They had 2 chairs in stock. Instead of looking, they stated “we might have one because one would be the display”. I simple asked if we could buy both. Told no, with no additional options. With all these companies struggling to stay afloat and they passed down $658!!!!! This Lowe’s always turns away business cause they are simply not focused on the customer experience.

I always preferred Lowes over Home Depot for one thing in particular, convenience. The only time I went to Home Depot was if Lowes did not carry what I was looking for but over the last year or so Lowes seems to have has followed suit with Home Depot and they no longer keep the flatbeds in the isles or in the garden section which is extremely inconvenient for people like me that dont always know what they want when they go in. I dont want to go back outside after I am already in the store and I dont want to unnecessarily push around a flat bed if I dont need to. Talking with several of the employees, they indicate that they get many complaints about this and also agree that they preferred when they were in the isles. Other than that though, I think this Lowes is great.
