“I originally went to Shooter's Outpost down the road asking about a specific pistol. I was greeted almost immediately by an associate, and the conversation went like this:Me: hi, I'm looking for a 226 xfive legionEmployee: I have everything sig makes on orderMe: oh cool, do you know when you might get one in stock?Employee: noMe: can I put a deposit on one?Employee: no, everything is first come, first serveMe: can I get on a waiting list, or can you call me when one shows up?Employee: if I put you on a waiting list, you'd be like #300Me: ok, when do you guys typically get shipments in?Employee: ThursdaysMe: so... I just have to come in every week to hopefully see if you've got anything?Employee: yeaMe: ThanksThe guy put no effort to try and make a sale at all. So I drive a mile down the road to Gunrunners 101. I've never been to this place before, but I was always curious. I walked in and spoke with, I believe his name is Bob, and this guy found a p226 xfive legion from one of his suppliers and even emailed his rep to have the pistol shipped out immediately on a Thursday. All because he wanted to earn my business as a first-time buyer. I received a call the following Tuesday afternoon that it was in! After filling out the paperwork for the background check, this man pulls out his cell phone to make the call right in front of me. He happened to be on a 1st name bassis with the person on the other end. I was in and out in 15 minutes! This man made the entire experience exactly what I was looking for. I just want to walk in order what I'm looking for and to pick it up when it's ready. A+ customer service”
