What a shame. I've been shopping at Goodwill a long time. It used to be a great way to save money and provide for our family on a tight budget but now the prices are higher and the quality is lower. Wish I could post pictures of filthy toddler clothes priced at $8 or more that I took today! We went to 4 Goodwills on our trip North, really all Goodwill's are just high priced junk now. I was told by an employee "we just ship it right to our By the Pound outlets, we don't have enough employees to bother" . Awful!

Broad selection of home goods and clothes, vintage and new items of every kind. Friendly staff with special savings on different days of each week. Clothing, shoes, lamps, toys, Bennie Baby's, VHS, DVD's, office supplies, some furniture, garden supplies, seasonal items, Halloween, fall, Thanksgiving, Easter and Christmas. Some furniture and a special section for antiques. Many $2 and $3 items. Accessible parking right near the entrance with some uneven pavement. Reduced hours during the summer. Goods turn over quickly so visit often.

Went to make a donation of. 3x4 framed mirror in great condition. The workers looked at it and told me it was “too big” for them. Went in the store and there were plenty of frames and furniture the same size or larger. They clearly just didn’t want to deal with it

Overpriced, but not surprising Goodwill has a board of highly paid directors. Some customers are aggressive and rude. Corey’s Closet in Hooksett is so much better, far cheaper, and is not a typical greedy corporate like Goodwill.

While the store is fine, donating is one of the most miserable experiences. For a store receiving items for free and make a profit, the staff is incredibly rude and unhelpful. They routinely yell and insult you, will only allow you to drop off in a vehicle, only one at a time, will not help you offload to hurry things up. This is the 21st century and the staff needs to adapt to be polite, efficient, and pleasant. I will shop here but never donate here again.

Unpleasant Experience at Goodwill Donation CenterI recently visited the Goodwill donation center with the intention of contributing a significant number of items. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by aggressive behavior from both employees and other customers, leaving me deeply disappointed.Upon arriving at the pull through donation area, I was met with an unwelcoming atmosphere. The employees were far from pleasant standing outside yelling and smoking cigarettes, and instead of providing assistance, their approach was unexpectedly aggressive. Their lack of patience and willingness to help created an extremely tense environment.Furthermore, other customers waiting in line exhibited similarly aggressive behavior. It's disheartening that what should be a simple and positive act of donating turned into a stressful encounter. The atmosphere was far from conducive to the spirit of giving especially during the holiday season. My last couple of experiences at Goodwill have left me far from wanting to donate and leaving without dropping off items only to find other organizations to donate my items. My recent encounter raise concerns about the customer service standards at this particular location. A more empathetic and customer-friendly approach is crucial, especially when dealing with individuals who are generously donating items to support a good cause.I hope this feedback prompts a reevaluation of customer service practices at the Goodwill donation center, ensuring a more pleasant experience for those contributing to the community.

This store is fine. But we always have trouble with the donation center. We make plenty of trips to donate and often are met with rudeness and a difficult time donating.

The lady who takes”donations” at the center is a witch. I think this store forgets that they are operating on the goodwill of those of us who donate in order to keep them in business. Today it was because at the very bottom of my third bag of clothes was a gift picture frame and a nut cracker…. Not the big doll kind….. A metal hand held walnut cracker. She actually had the nerve to chase after me to take it out of the bag for her. Pure laziness. Never again. She was an absolute witch the last time I was there as well, but I obviously didn’t learn my lesson. Lesson learned.

After looking at the reviews, it seems as if management is not making improvements to the problem areas. The donation process needs to be overhauled. I don’t know the pricing policy but someone should review it for this area. Donation based markets need to move goods and that happens with excellent pricing. Several people have told me they no longer donate. I do shop there sometimes but there are other choices. Too bad because Goodwill does provide good community services.
