A lovely little inn on Campobello. We loved the room, the friendly staff, and the great view as we sat on the lawn watching the sunset. Highly recommended. Room was cozy, comfortable, clean.

So glad I found this place. My wife and I stayed two nights in this charming little inn just across from the water. Each room had two Adirondack chairs facing the Bay to enjoy the view. The sunsets were especially beautiful. The rooms seem to have been recently redone. They were very comfortable, though small. The hosts were super friendly and helpful. Campobello is such a wonderful, relaxing place.

Wonderful place and so quiet and relaxing. The rooms are modern and stylish, very clean. Views are beautiful. I forgot my laptop charger in the room and the brilliant staff even mailed it to my house. Highly appreciated and thoroughly recommended!

This place is simply adorable! The location on the water is soo relaxing. The rooms are decorated so cute. It looked so coastal. The bed was super comfy, the pillows were great. My only complaint is I wish we could have stayed longer. Will definitely stay again!

We spent 2 nights here. We splurged on one of the oceanfront cabins (Alpha) and were rewarded with a spectacular sunset and the pleasure of watching the tides go in and out. Our room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. Great location--The Porch restaurant is across the street, and the Roosevelt cottage is a very short drive. FYI: The Alpha and Beta cabins are both in one building, and the walls between them are not well soundproofed. (Beta was occupied by a noisy family during our stay.)

We’ve stayed at Friars Bay multiple times and have always been so comfortable it’s never easy to leave. So happy that the Porch restaurant was opened a few years ago. Living in Bar Harbor gets hectic during the summer and Campobello is a great retreat. The nicest staff makes it perfect !

Just returned. We loved our little hillside cottage. Gorgeous ocean views, great food right next door, excellent service and care. Very clean and comfortable. We’ll definitely be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nice people, nice place. very attentive staff. Jessie was great. Super convenient for what we did, golf and FDR’s summer residence. 5k from Lubec Maine. We came in by ferry from Deer Island for the full maritime experience. This added to our Campobello experience

We have been going there for years but missed the past three because of Covid...many upgrades since we were there last. Jesse and Anna are awesome. Room was super clean, the room had recently been painted and everything seems fresh and new. I do agree with the dairyboys review that you can hear people in the next room but it's a small price to pay for the view.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable 2 night's stay in a cottage. It was the main cottage (?) the one that sits by itself on the little hill. Spectacular views of the bay. The lady at check-in was just as sweet as could be. (We did however ask her to change payment from one card to another, and it was no problem. Only to discover on check out that the payment was put through on the card we didn't want it on.) The bathroom needs blinds on the window in the shower. I know the window is glazed, but still, it is uncomfortable. Also, the shower needs a grab bar. It's just silly not to have one installed. And while the kitchen is well stocked with plenty of pots and pans, you need more plates, cups, glasses, bowls, and utensils. Simply not near enough of those items. The washer and dryer (free to use!!) were an absolute godsend. A wonderful place to stay and relax.

Amazing view and very comfortable, clean and cute little cottages. Staff were great, friendly and helpful. The cottages had lots of pillows, thick quilts and a portable air conditioner.

Our room was spotless, nicely decorated. You can tell that a lot of work has been put into the motel. Hosts were lovely, wish we had booked 2 nights.

The lady who runs these cottages is the best! Very, very helpful. Cottages are quite small but super clean!!
