Update: The restaurant has reached out, apologized and explained staffing issues. I am revising my information/stars. I do wish the person working had taken time to explain, but I understand they may not have realized how far we came to their restaurant, or how much this means to customers to better understand the situation on the night.Original:We loved this place a few years ago. Went again and the dining room now has many video gambling terminals instead of dining tables. There were still a couple of small restaurant tables near the Bar. The outside sign said open daily, but when we went there last Wednesday, we were told Taco Restaurant was closed that night, and we were not given any explanation. We may try again but will definitely call in advance if back in town.

I came in about 2 or so months ago when they first opened and the guy working was so professional and great. Now they have a poor team, hard to stomach their food anymore.Hope that big guy comes back soon.Not very clean and poor quality food lately, not impressed at all. Made the drive for nothing.First time I came it was much better but still not review worthy. I am very particular about my reviews, I always wait until second visit to give feed back, first time could have been a good day.

I'm from the Rodeo Taco Bar and I've never eaten such good Olé shrimp! It's so nice to have beautiful restaurant pearls in our corner! Truly Mexican Mexican! It's fucking cool! The flavors make us travel without counting their broad smile!

Pretty ordinary food. It's not bad, just ordinary. Still quite disappointed. It's original to eat Mexican in a bar attached to a convenience store, but don't expect a culinary revolution. Go there for the unique atmosphere!
