High Seas Convenience is a hidden gem offering fantastic food and pleasant, friendly service. The basic fried seafood is the specialty, done pretty well with excellent portions at an excellent price. The seafood is fresh and cooked to perfection. Favorites include the smash burger with great flavour, the whole clam platter, and the lobster poutine with ample fresh lobster and perfect squeaky curds in a Newburg style sauce. The gravy is fabulous and the crunchy fries are perfect. They also carry a surprisingly wide selection of basic grocery items and feature ice cream. It is an odd-looking joint with both indoor and outdoor picnic table dining and a nice view. Meals are a bargain and highly recommended.

Come for the ice cream! And have some food off the menu too. Like deep fried mushrooms, clam platter or the poutine (gravy is fabulous and crunchy fries are perfect).These are the places that are hidden gems

The food here is fantastic! So far my favorite is the whole clam platter but everything is delicious. They also carry a surprisingly wide selection of basic grocery items.
