Every year, we head to Grand Manan and go kayaking with them. Excellent company, great guides.

I've gone on kayaking tours with Kevin and his knowledgeable staff - always a great time!My most recent visit to Adventure High was to attend a safety workshop for sea kayaking. Kevin hosted this work shop free of charge to help islanders stay safe now that sea kayaking has become increasingly popular around our island. Not only do they showcase Grand Manan's beauty, but they care deeply for island residents and visitors alike!

Owners are very personable, friendly and easy going, very welcoming...awesome view of the berry, the fishing vessels, and Stanley's Beach just a short jaunt away, where you can pick sand dollars and beach glass.

Super friendly, and a great resource for adventures all over the island.

Excellent experience kayaking with a knowledgeable local guide. Stayed in constant communication about our reservation and worked with us around the weather. Very amiable. Respected our kayaking experience and treated us well - not like the typical “stupid tourist” treatment. Friendly and informative.

Good spot for kayaking. Had a young local for my guide who was a pleasure to talk with and informative of the area. Saw whales, porpoises, herring, seals. Very nice. I was able to walk onto the ferry in the morning, go for a quick swim at a nearby beach, do the afternoon trip, eat an amazing meal at the compass rose (make a reservation) and walk to the lighthouse while getting the last ferry out. Very much worth it for the day

Adventure High is not a hotel, but a place where you can go kayaking with a guide.

This is family own hose cum motel. Very clean and well maintained. Window view is awesome, cold air flows into your room. Roof is little bit noisy at night when you walk. Breakfast is good too.

I had a great trip out on the water! We got to see the island from an entirely different perspective. Our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!

As an islander who now lives on the mainland, doing the 'touristy' things can be incredible. There's a unique experience having lived here and then seeing it from a new perspective which is what I found out on the water kayaking. Our guide, Ryan, was beyond amazing and knowledgeable. He was very calm and easygoing with a lot of information about anything from wildlife to the rock formations and the history of the island. It was a quick introduction to the kayak and then off we went. It was a fantastic three-hours and my husband and I are both planning to do it again! Seeing seals, eagles, seaducks, and even a whale in the distance and some porpoise up closer was exciting but just being on the water and getting a different view of the island was worth it.

Warm environment. Waitresses, including the very very friendly owner. Breathtaking sea view. The only downside, the food was not worthy of a restaurant: overcooked chicken, reheated vegetables, pasta lacking seasoning and not garlic from the grocery store to buy frozen. All for $80
