Food at the inn is great. Bed in the 2 room "suite" should have had the mattress replaced long ago, it's crushed/collapsed in the middle. Watching the tides in the harbor out back was quite enjoyable. The 2 room "suite" is basically a long hotel room with a glassed door between beds. The front partition is entered off the outside and has no separation from the bathroom entry. The rear looks out over the parking lot and harbor, and contains the mini-fridge and coffee maker. Anyone gets up early and the light pours through the door.

We had a very enjoyable stay at this establishment. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. It’s nice to have a restaurant on site after a long day of driving.
We had one of the balcony rooms overlooking the harbor and water. Amazing to see the tide come in and out.
Convenient location to other places.
Alma is a nice town we would return.

Stayed 2 nights mid September 2024. Great view from room overlooking the fishing boats and the tide. Beds were very hard and uncomfortable. Stairs leading up to 2nd floor pretty steep to climb. No air conditioning in rooms... had 2 separate bedrooms with floor fan only in one. Restaurant was closed for a function the first night of our stay which we were only informed of on arrival. Continental breakfast was offered with selection of frozen waffles, runny scrambled eggs and sausage. Could do better for the price.

Stayed one night at the Parkland Village Inn in a two room “suite” with ocean views. Suite equals two bedrooms, one with an ocean view (a balcony would’ve been nice( and the other with a view of the gallery everyone takes to get to their room) and a bathroom in between. Beds were uncomfortable!! Staff at the desk and bar were friendly and helpful though and the inn is very well located just at the entrance to the village. Everything is accessible on foot.

Very old inn in cute town. Rooms have not been renovated...ever? No AC. Though it came with a floor fan and ceiling fan which was on all night!!! Shower / washroom was creepy. Physical keys to the room. Limited parking. Good luck for folks who got the top floor..no elevators. Despite all this, it was centrally located...walking distance to the to restaurants, general store and bay of Fundy.

Right from our booking to our greeting upon arrival, nothing but 5 star! The staff were absolutely fabulous! Our room gave us a view of the water as well as the main street. We booked the 2 bedroom on the 2nd floor, a lovely porch out front to share & chat with others. A huge shout out to Anik,at reception this young lady is going to do amazing things in her future

This is hands down one of the worst experiences of my life. When I walked into the room, it was completely unhygienic and just filthy. We asked the person at the front desk if we could switch rooms and she said we could not get a replacement room. We asked for a refund but she basically refused to give us alternatives. I couldn’t believe it! Then the manager came out. Then it got even worse! He was so arrogant and erratic and I simply just couldn’t believe it. I wouldn’t stay there ever and wouldn’t recommend anyone else to do so. The only good thing about that facility was the employee named Richard. He was kind and respectful and was really trying his best. However, this other lady who was at the front desk after Richard was just rude, impolite and immature. I gave two stars for the location because Alma is a beautiful town. But that lady and the manager’s attitude and the room quality and the hotel quality overall was just simply unacceptable.

The room was not clean at all. It looked like the employees did not even clean the room. The soap was used and the bed smelled bad. We could not get a view of the tide, and the customer service was terrible

Rooms: Room nice, hardwood flooring, spacious amazing view with comfortable beds
Nearby activities: Right in town can walk to all restaurants and shops. Spots to view tides and fishing boats. Fundy national park just a few minutes up the road
Food and drinks: Hotel restaurant Tides is great, food is amazing. Beautiful view and they have hummingbird feeders on the windows and hummingbirds come right to the windows. Great selection of fresh seafood and delicious desserts.

The Parkland Inn is in a fantastic location along the main street and ocean. My ocean-view room was very spacious (two sleeping areas, along with a table and four chairs). You can watch the tides throughout the day from the harbor-view rooms or from the lawn chairs in the backyard of the inn. The owner was very welcoming. The inn is within easy access to the Fundy National Park visitor center. Highly recommend this property!
Noteworthy details: Unbeatable views!
