I rarely go to Dollar General but my last visit was so enjoyable, thanks to the young man who helped me get just what I wanted. His name is Matthew (Matt) and honestly it was so refreshing to be treated with such respect and kindness and fun. A great experience, and I will definitely be a customer as long as my experiences are like this.

Jennica the store manager put me in the hospital and she is a rude evil person who needs to be fired. This store is always a mess and she doesn’t know what she is doing anyway. My husband worked here for all of two months before he finally got sick of her talking down to everyone else and quit.

The store manager Jennica is a terrible person. I think if they would replace her with a better manager then this store could have more potential. Until then, I will drive 30 minutes out of the way to Silver Springs if I ever want to shop at a Dollar General. The rest of the employees here are fine even though she will literally talk crap about anyone and make you think otherwise. I am honestly thinking about filing a lawsuit against her personally myself.

Stopped by while coming through town and witnessed the manager (if you can even call her that) yelling and berating at a truck driver that was there to deliver to their store. He surprisingly remained calm and took it from her. She needs to get herself in check and remind herself that without truck drivers her store wouldn't receive product and she wouldn't have a job. Not a way you want to act in front of your employees.

WAY better than then it's sloppy counterpart Family Dollar. The employees are friendly, they work with you. You don't always have to use exact change, you can pay with plastic, and no stupid rules every time you go in like the Family Dollar that's here. The ladies in here are all very nice personable and helpful, unlike Family Dollar where they all think you wanna be met with an attitude.
