I have always had a wonderful experience in this jewelry store in Virginia City. The older woman who has worked there for many years has always been knowledgeable, sweet and respectful to us and every customer who walked in. Today she helped me pick out a ring and matching white buffalo turquoise pendant that are authentic from Otteson’s mine in Tonapah Nevada. The service and inventory are excellent and I always love stopping in the store to purchase quality pieces.

The most rude and probably prejudice person I've met by far. I wanted to buy my wife a pair of nice earrings and I actually really liked their inventory. She was very rude and scolded me three times even though I was being extremely apologetic for taking pictures to show my wife since she lives a state away. Continued to scold and disrespect not only me, but my group of friends.If you're also a veteran, then avoid at all costs. She doesn't seem to support veterans either me being a disabled combat veteran. Went to the other jewelry stores and they were happy that I was taking pictures as a support to their business to get their names out there. No wonder there were no people in this store.Listen to these longer-descriptive reviews because they aren't ambiguous and short like the others.

If I could give this place no stars and a middle finger I would! I have never been so rudely profiled in my life! By the little old lady working behind the counter yesterday. As soon as my friend and I walked 5 feet into the store she gave us this look like we were about to rob the place. She said hello while looking us up and down with this disgusted scared look on her face. In return in a friendly voice I said hello back. Then she asked in a very rude voice "can I help you". I said "no thank you we're just looking around". As she was looking us up and down with this Disgusted and scared look on her face. she goes "oh really, well ok". My friend and I felt so unwelcomed that we instantly turn around and left the store. I just have to say my friend and I weren't wearing dirty disgusting clothing, we weren't loud or drunk or acting like idiots. I guess I'll only crime is that we had tattoos and that made us "bad people". Which is a shame, because there is a lot of beautiful jewelry in there. And we were ready to spend money! I will tell everyone I know to NOT visit this store the next time they go to Virginia City. I am very disappointed and embarrassed considering I was a local and grew up in this area.

This amazing woman was so kind and so helpful to help me find a beautiful fire opal ring. After being treated poorly by another shop it was very refreshing to come to this very welcoming one.

This shop has the most gorgeous Native American silver & turquoise jewelry! I only wish I had purchased the beautiful bracelet I saw. Oh well, I'll be back!

In May, I was vacationing in Reno while participating in the Women's National Bowling Tournament and on my way out of town, I decided to visit Virginia City for a day. What a cute, quaint western town! Stopped at the "Jewelry House" (71 South C Street) to check out their assortment of beautiful jewelry. Found a gorgeous Black Hills Gold necklace and eventually decided to purchase it. The woman who waited on me was so helpful and nice. I know I got a great deal on such a beautiful piece of jewelry and it will always remind me of my trip out west. This is a very reputable business and if I am ever in Virginia City again, I will definitely stop by and probably purchase more.
