Tho this gym advertises that they are open "24 hours", there is no staff on-site unless by appointment. Members are given a key fob to open a door to enter. When I emailed & asked questions about the safety of having no staff, I was told that "A person could go for a hike on Ophir Grade and experience a medical emergency with nobody around. Are we really safe anywhere anymore? Schools? Theatres? Concerts? Driving?" The last paragraph stated: "Our gym does not sound like the right fit for you. I am sure you can find another one off the hill that would be more comfortable for you." By the above comments, it sounds like you need to be somebody special in Virginia City to be a member....I am a store manager and if this was my employee, she'd be GONE.

This is a good gym. Its quiet not crazy busy, have yet to stand in line to use the equipment, get to pick your own music if you choose to do so and its clean!

Up here for a wedding, woke up and wanted to do my early morning workout as always. Researched and found this hidden gem. Everything is in great shape, smells good, and is super clean. Great place for a vacation workout!

This is an excellent addition to VC. It is a very friendly, comfortable and clean. The instructors are awesome, equipment is great along with an excellent smoothie bar.
