Took a 2 hour tour in an insulated Polaris. The guide was pretty proud of the restoration being done there.
Historic Mining Museum encompassing 113 acres of buildings, artifacts, tunnel, mine stopes, mine shafts, etc. Movie about Tonopah history, gift shop, and mineral display. Self-Guided Walking Tours or Guided Polaris (ATV) Tours. Open 7 Days a week, except holidays. Winter 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Summer 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Nonprofit Foundation dedicated to the preservation of Nevada's mining history.
