Great breakfast place! The service is good from start (wait in the foyer or at the Free Bird Chai coffee place, which is in the same bldg) to finish. Our server was sweet, attentive, and fast, though she had a 6 top and two other tables besides us. The menu is large. My favorite is the Rösti, which my tablemate agreed has the PERFECT ratio of eggs (we ordered them poached) to hashbrowns and other ingredients. Delicious. The waffle... we sent ours back. It was soft and mushy and didn't have those deep pockets I love to see in a waffle. Our most truthful observation was that the free hotel breakfast waffles you get at middle range hotels are better than this one. But the pancakes we got to replace it were chef's kiss! Spongy, eggy, light, able to carry the whipped butter and warm syrup they were served with. Decor was kind of gas station ski cafe. We'll definitely come back here! The Kingsbury location is for some reason closed right now and we haven't tried the Keys location but this Bijou location is quite good.

Waffle was so hard had to cut with steak knife. Chicken that came with the waffle was thrown back in the fryer after it became cold and served to my wife and I. This was our first time there. We really looked forward to it. But 40 dollars for two glasses of water, one orange juice, and two orders of hard waffles and over cooked chicken was disappointing.

The service and ambiance at the location by Meeks lumbar is great. I ONLY recommend the location by Meeks lumber. The food was great! The staff is very welcoming. Friendly! **HEADS UP - The other location on Kingsbury is racist. One of the old, decrepit male locals pushed me out of his way, on purpose, while waiting to be seated. The cook gave us a very unwelcoming look/stare. We left after being seated and went to the other location. We were scared to eat the food.

My wife grew up in SLT and this was her go-to breakfast spot! Now whenever we're up in the area vacationing or visiting relatives, we love to stop by for a delicious breakfast. I even got our baby a red hut onesie! So cute!

The best "hole-in-the-wall" American diner I've ever been to. It should be a national monument. The coffee was outstanding too.

Being raised in South Lake Tahoe, Red Hut Cafe was a regular staple for my husband. For years we would come up a several times and stop in to eat. We haven't stopped in in quite some time due to the wait time but this time we had some time so I decided to go ahead and wait and get our remembered food. However the quality has declined exponentially! I was shocked at how poor the quality and taste of the food was. We will not be going back, at least not to this location! Very very disappointed.
