Really great experience. The hotel is new and modern with very attentive staff. The view is incredible. The best part was by far spending time at the bar. Hasim is a real gem. He has incredible knowledge of everything in his bar. There is not a spirit that they serve that they have not tried and believe in. It was so refreshing having a knowledgeable bar staff at a resort in a tourist location. They have experience from all over the US running very successful bar programs and are happy to chat about all the offerings. They will also provide you with off menu cocktails from any of the classics to more modern riffs. I can’t praise the bar staff enough. Thanks!!Nearby activities: Great shuttle access to all of South Lake Tahoe

Stunning views, incredibly kind and accommodating staff. No need to look elsewhere. This is where you NEED to stay!Rooms: Incredibly spacious and very awesome layout.Nearby activities: -Ski resorts-Emerald Bay Park (a must!)Food & drinks: Decent food, albeit very high prices for what you get. Dining at the Edgewood restaurant has absolutely stunning views, but the food was lackluster compared to our dining experiences from Miami.

The Edgewood Tahoe Resort in South Lake Tahoe truly stands as a beacon of luxury and serenity, embodying the quintessence of a five-star getaway. Nestled along the panoramic shores of Lake Tahoe, the resort promises an experience of unparalleled luxury, blending seamlessly with the natural beauty that surrounds it. The decor strikes a harmonious balance between modern sophistication and the warm, inviting ambiance of a traditional lodge. Elements of mid-century modern design are tastefully integrated throughout the interior, adding a layer of elegance without overwhelming the senses.Guests are welcomed into rooms that boast beautiful wood furniture, gas fireplaces, and decks offering breathtaking views of Lake Tahoe, creating an atmosphere of tranquil luxury. The off-the-floor cabinetry and meticulous lighting design contribute to the clean, airy feel of the accommodations, while the bathrooms, with separate soaking tubs and large sliding doors, extend the sense of spacious luxury into every corner of the guest experience.Dining at the Edgewood Bistro is a highlight, with the on-site restaurant providing a wonderful array of dishes that complement the overall experience of the resort. In summary, the Edgewood offers an escape that combines the best of luxury accommodation with the breathtaking natural beauty of Lake Tahoe, ensuring that every stay is not just a visit, but a memorable experience. Whether it's the comfort of the rooms, the excellence in dining, the range of activities, or the commitment to sustainability, the resort seems to have crafted a perfect blend of what makes a luxury getaway truly special.

I was in town on business and stayed at Edgewood Tahoe. OMG! I arrived late at night and couldn't really see everything as I was pulling in. it was well lit but it was so dark out. I valeted my car and check in was really quick. The staff was super friendly. I got into my room and was surprised at how big it was. It had a huge shower, double sinks, a soaking tub, fireplace, a balcony. I looked out the window and it looked like a snow covered parking lot. Little did I realize how wrong I was. I woke up the next day to find that I was right on the golf course facing lake tahoe, that wasn't a parking lot, it was grass. GREAT VIEWS!The fitness center was great, I was able to enjoy it. They have a lot of various equipment. I went to the bar to get a bit after working out and met a wonderful bartender named Nasim, He was probably one of the friendliest people i've met during my travels. We ended up talking for about an hour or so and had a great convo.I also tried out the bistro... the flatbread pepperoni pizza was amazing! so good! The bed was comfortable, the internet was lighting fast. I didn't hear a peep from anyone around me as I slept. What more could I ask for? I'd definitely stay there again! so peaceful.

Beautiful Resort. We visited for breakfast only after recommendations from a friend. The location is absolutely the best possible. For winter or summer stay, I think this resort offers maximum comfort and luxury accommodation and amenities.I recommend 100%

I could go on and on about what this trip and stay should have been like, however I am completely disappointed to be writing this review. Below is a list of experiences we recently had at this resort in 2024:1. Our luggage (which we check-in and left with the hotel bell hop) was unavailable to us when we were able to check into our room later on in the day. In fact, it was somehow back at the Reno airport with another transfer that had nothing to do with us. The resort didn't even call to make us aware but, instead, another patron of the hotel who noticed it was with their luggage. There was no accountability taken by the hotel NOR was there even an offer to cover our dinner reservation at the hotel or a bottle of wine. Our luggage was missing for approximately 7 hours.2. A sizeable bug in our charcuterie board at the bar3. Such poor service at the hotel bar that after 20 min of waiting (when all of the seats were NOT occupied), we had to ask if they were willing to help us order. This was a repeated experience of unfriendly bar tenders.4. Waiting in line to be picked up by the hotel transport, hotel staff watched us be cut-off by other patrons who had not been waiting and rather walked right in front of us to take our spots. Thankfully, a supervisor saw what happened and acknowledged that the staff should not be allowing this to occur.5. After our stay, I tried to access the online apparel shop to make a golf wear purchase and despite being transferred to 3 different people, I was told I would need to wait 2 months until the new website was up and that there was no other way to purchase anything through the shop. While this hotel is aesthetically GORGEOUS with amazing views, it absolutely does not live up to the 5-star reputation and has much to learn about service.

We came staying at this hotel for 3 times since they opened. But the latest visit was very disappointing!!This hotel was used to be very high-end with good quality. 2 days ago we just checked in to our room and saw that the room was not even ready for the residents. They didn’t even put the sink stoppers back!!! Also the happened in the shower! I’ve traveled a lot and it was the first time I met this situation! It made me feel that they didn’t finish cleaning then left! As an high-end hotel, I found it’s super unacceptable! We told the front desk, they just sent someone to put the stoppers back without any compensation or not even a sincere apology. We would choose to come back to stay at this hotel because it used to be worth it to stay. This time made me so disappointing and prob never come back again!Rooms: Not even tidy up before serving the residents!

From the views to the hospitality, this place is AMAZING! The resort is beautiful with breathtaking Lake Tahoe views. It offers a heated pool, free shuttle, free filtered water with reusable containers, a bar, coffee shop, skating rink, spa, and places to sit outside and stay warm. They offer s’mores nightly as a fun snack. The rooms are gorgeous and cozy and we had our own fireplace. The food choices are also exceptional with more options just down the road at Heavenly. You can’t go wrong staying here.

Best resort on Lake Tahoe hands down!!! Absolutely beautiful place to stay. Some of the best views that you could ask for. Lake front property. Amazing service, centrally located to every where you would want to go. They offer a complementary shuttle to anywhere you want to go within 2 miles of the resort.

Gorgeous hotel right on Lake Tahoe. Incredible mountain and lake views. Lovely rooms with bathtubs and fireplaces. Daily housekeeping and nightly turndown service is spectacular. The shuttle around the local area is awesome, no need to worry about catching Ubers! Super close to the Stateline Gondola for Heavenly Ski Resort. Ski Butlers on site is perfect for your rentals and getting information about mountain conditions. We’re thoroughly enjoying our winter getaway and would love to visit in the summer!
