This is my favorite WinCo in town! It's a bit out of my way, but always worth the drive. The store is clean, the shopping carts all work, and the employees are so friendly and kind! There are plenty of manned checkouts and self-checkouts available. On my recent visit when checking out, I noticed that the cashier I was about to go to was "in-training" and they had a sign asking people to be patient. I almost turned around and then thought, nah, she needs it! Her name is Maddi and she was the absolute sweetest! Very pleasant to talk to and doing an excellent job with how new she was! I noticed the other employees were all incredibly kind and gracious with her as well. I rarely ever have an issue finding the things I need here and everything is a great price! I am always surprised at how low my grocery bill is when I come here vs other stores. I've also never had an issue with the quality of food/products I've found here.

I absolutely love that this is employee owned. Indeed, it is currently the cheapest place to shop. Not to mention they have almost anything you could want. This store is huge. It is always clean inside.Perfectly located with two ways to access. Not to mention it has a huge parking lot.The store lay out is also nice. This store has a wide variety of items including keto, gluten-free, and dairy-free items for those with specialty diets. They also have sandwiches and pizzas made to order. They sell pizza by the slice, calzones, and other items. I haven't tried them yet.

This Winco was conveniently located along Pyramid Highway when I was in need of a coffee drink and a ladies room. The bakery goods were fresh. The refrigerated soft drinks and coffee drinks were chilled. The food aisles were neat and well stocked. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Best bang for the buck groceries. Some frozen, canned, and dry goods can be found cheaper elsewhere but the produce and meat is a solid deal.I have them cut ribeye steaks on occasion 1.5inches thick and they are always great about it.

I really like this store because there are always people around to help you. The store is clean, they have a bakery and their veggies are fresh. Oh yeah, and they're open 24 hours! We love their Christmas candy barrels!! Winner!

Winco was surprising in the depth of products they have. From groceries, vegetables, bakery etc.The deli leaves much to be desired in terms of choice. Standard deli meats. The fried chicken is some of the best of any of the local grocery stores. The meat section is good but surprisingly no filet steaks. Perhaps this is just at a price point that is too high for them to carry.Soft drink and water prices are the best in the area. They have a very good selection of bagels and bakery products.Overall, the prices are some of the best. Much better than Savemart, Smiths, or Safeway.

The best WinCo I have ever been to. I live down the street from the North Towne WinCo and I drive to Spanish Springs to shop here instead. It's all about the staff for me and the service in Spanish springs is great!!

I am almost positive I've written a review about WinCo? But, since they are my absolute #1 place to grocery shop, I'll do this review. If you are shopping at oh, Raley's or Save Mart. Stop, just stop. You are spending waaayy too much money on items that are literally, almost half the cost at WinCo.Walmart shoppers? I get it, it's your 'one stop shop' for pretty much anything you need- and having the grocery section pretty much seals the deal. But once again, it's all about saving big on your food bill. I'll give you one real good example: the Meat Department.WinCo has the best meat prices out of any grocery store here in Reno. And I'm not talking about something that's on sale somewhere else. I'm talking about all of the time! Other stores are finally catching up with this, but they have a 'Buy in Bulk' section that is pretty dynamic- lots to choose from. They also always have seasonal and/or Holiday items for sale as well- right now they have anything from super soft blankets, to slippers, to pet winter wear. And so much more!Aaaaand..... they are open 24 hours. This store is at least worth checking out.Trust me, you will end up shopping here more often than not!

I rarely find empty shelves here like I find at Walmart. Produce seems a lot fresher, too. Employees are friendly and helpful.

Prices are so good and the place is friendly. I highly recommend winco to all people. Their organic options are a bit limited, but everything else is very good. The rotating inventory has its ups and downs. It’s excited to visit, but an item you for before May not be there the next time you go.

Great prices and well stocked. Get the Winco brand of you go here. It is less expensive and always has less additives than the name brand stuff.

I visited this store for the first time today. It was very clean, inside and out. My main focus was the produce section. It's quite large! I had a little trouble finding the organic items. I can't say that all of the produce was in great shape, however, if one takes a few moments to inspect things more closely, some decent items can be found. They had Brentwood corn! I lived in the East Bay for years, and Brentwood corn on the cob was always a treasure! The bulk section is very large, also. Everything is large in this store! If you want to see everything the store has to offer, I recommend you set aside some time and wear comfortable shoes.

We love this Winco! It hasn't been tagged, It's clean and it's safe. At the times we're able to go, they're open and usually not too crazy. Their product is large and has variety. They have bulk products. When I want to save money on food and snacks, Winco is my go to. If you like dvds, they have movies and shows that are inexpensive and hard to find. Their ice cream selection is awesome with all sorts of flavors. I find things there that I can't find anywhere else. The staff are nice and helpful. It's the best and well worth the drive out there.

Ordinarily would give five stars to this store, but for the issue of Winco shutting down the self-checkout lanes at 10pm. That is causing the four star rating. I was in there on a weekday, at 9:45, with a LOT OF OTHER PEOPLE, probably 40--50 other customers, and there were two checkout stands open, and the self-checkout was closed. The lines were stacked up, and when buying FROZEN FOOD, the waiting is not conducive to getting that food home still in its frozen state.Come on, WINCO.....keep those self-checkout lanes open, at least one of them.I did talk to an employee about it and she said they were understaffed, plus had been having problems with customers sneaking out of the store with unpurchased items. And it IS an employee-owned store, so I get it.I didn't think this was San Francisco, or Detroit, or LA, but...I guess even some "Nevadans" steal stuff. (Or maybe just new California arrivals.)
