“My husband and I used to come here all the time. Back in the day, they had a locals special called "Stepping Out Package." it included a dinner, show, and two cocktails for under thirty dollars. Those were the days.
It has been years since I have seen a show here. However, many greats have performed at this showroom. We came here recently to see Preacher Lawson the comic. The venue has a lot more seats crowded in than it did years ago. Less legroom and space to move.
In my humble opinion, there is a bad seat in the house. The stage is large and fairly close. The sound and lighting are excellent. Of course, it does depend on the lighting and sound crew provided. However, on this night they were both on point.
700 seats are available at this venue. The Nugget offers ample well-lit parking. A great place to come and see a comic or other entertainer. A small bar is usually set up just outside the doors of the venue.”
