I can't even begin to write about how disappointed and disgusted I am with US Bank at this time. I've been a customer of US Bank for several years, and I feel that I've been a good customer throughout this time. So it came as a complete shock to me to hear that my account(s) were being frozen over a recent deposit that I made. I recently deposited a check that I received from my previous employer. The same employer that I've been depositing checks from for over 15years. The check that I deposited was unfortunately returned for reasons that still have not been communicated with me. After learning of this on the following day, I called my local US Bank branch location and spoke with a branch manager. The branch manager said that because of the returned check, that my account was now frozen and that no transactions could be made. This of course came as a complete shock considering the fact that this was the first time this had ever happened. After learning of this, I had the CEO of the company that issued the check talk to the bank branch manager at the Spanish Springs location. I was told later that day that the problem with my account being frozen was being resolved. I later checked my balances to make sure that both accounts were in good standing, which they were at that point, and I made a mobile transfer from another account to cover any future automated transactions that were scheduled to be processed in the days to come. In other words, I didn't want to in any way depend on or take the risk of having a negative balance because of the recently returned check. The following day my bank card was declined for a small transaction so I accessed my account through my bank app to check my balance, only to learn that one of my accounts was now severely overdrawn. Fortunately my other US Bank account had more than enough money to cover the overdrawn amount in the overdrawn account. After trying to make an "Internal Transfer" from one checking account to the overdrawn account and receiving an error message on my phone, I tried to call the local US Bank branch. This too, proved to be unsuccessful because the local branch was not accepting phone calls during the time I called and I was not able to speak to anyone regarding this very important matter. It's important to note that my calls to the bank branch were during regular business hours. This happened about mid-afternoon Friday, January 12, 2024. After numerous attempts to process an internal transfer through my bank app, and conversations with US Bank employees on what was now Saturday morning, I was told that the only person that could help me with this issue was the bank manager at this specific location. Unfortunately for me, this very specific bank manager did not work Saturday's and would not be in to assist me till the following Tuesday. I know that there are procedures that need to be followed here, but why am I being punished for something that I had no control over?? Secondly, why is my account still frozen even though I've had the funds to cover pending and future transactions, including the overdrawn account mentioned herein. Thirdly, why is your company set up in such a way that only one bank manager at one specific US Bank location can help me?!?! This is absolutely ridiculous!! Needless to say this process has been extremely frustrating and difficult on me and my wife. We are both disabled and really rely on being able to make daily transactions through our US Bank account. Please stop punishing your faithful customers for something that is beyond their control and unfreeze our account so we can go about our daily lives and pay our bills with our money. R. Borden

This branch is inside the Save Mart. It is just a small kiosk with one little area for three people to sit. Teller's are friendly, knowledgeable, and kind. My husband and I were surprised to see that CD's are running in the 4% range. It is a fast and efficient way to access the bank on Saturdays.

To the branch manager; how dare you. Money is money and if it was taken unfairly? It's wrong. Period. Overdraft fees are expensive, but it's just $36, right? Never coming here again. Human decency isn't their Forte.

Wonderful experience, a lifesaver. I needed an account, but Wells Fargo had no appointments available. But I walked right up and got an appointment here in 45 minutes. Very friendly staff, and Parker was very helpful in setting up the account and explaining it all. All around amazing people, highly recommend it to everyone.

This branch inside SaveMart is convenient to the neighborhood and everyone in there is very nice and helpful EXCEPT one lady that has been there for years. I avoid her when possible and I wait for another teller. My wife hates her and avoids her, and my son goes way down the street to another branch to avoid her. She needs training on how to deal with the public, or put in a position to not interface with the public. She's just terse and not real helpful nor friendly.I thought she would be able to quickly verify my ID against an I9 form for a temporary consulting task, but she says she is not allow to be a "witness" on a document. Uh, it is not a witness. It is similar to what is needed when notarizing a WILL, which they do. It is strange that she can verify my identification on a WILL, yet not on a simple I9 form that doesn't even need to be notarized. So I go to another competitive bank where I don't even have an account and they don't know me from Moses. They quickly and easily sign the verification and no charge. They comment the US Bank lady likely doesn't know the difference between a verification and a witness. So guess what, I walked back in to the competitive bank and opened an account with them. I guess I should move all my money to a more friendly and helpful location.

This branch has always been so helpful and friendly. Today one of the tellers named Dylan went above and beyond to help me. He's been exceptionally friendly every time he's assisted me but today I was blown away. Their system was having issues and I was his first customer of the day. He was incredibly patient and did everything he could. He even called me back an hour and a half later saying he was able to get my account taken care of once their systems were back up. This is a very trust worthy U.S. bank branch.
