Have been there multiple times throughout the last year. I applied for a job, had an on the phone interview and in person interview with manager. Got offered the job. Went to see the hiring manager at her office, and went over the job. She asked if I had disability, I said yes. She had me fill out a piece of paper and write down some accommodations. Told wait 2 weeks for backround check. Call 1 week in, 1 week and a half later told be same hiring manager that her hire ups told her not to go through with hiring me because of what accommodations I wrote down. So why did you have me fill out that paper? Have you not hired someone with disabled before? When I sat in the hiring managers office I overheard on atherosclerosis employee talk to her about disability benefits / accommodations so I know it's not un-common. So if I had kept me mouth shut and said nothing I would have had the job? But since I was honest and answered honestly at the moment I end up jobless when I was right about to beging work and ALREADY got the job offer. What does that tell me? Honesty doesn't pay, apparently. How do you get new employees at all, if THIS is how you function? Very frustrating, why do people have to be so robotic, UNCOMMUNICAVTIVE, rude, and unhelpful. Not a good experience overall. Would NOT recommend to anyone, to waste their time TRYING to get a job their OR to waster their money and time their. Time is limited, why would I spend it on people who won't give the same amount of effort back that I'm putting in???

There was an older lady that works at the Salvation Army thrift shop and she was very rude to me one day. I will not go back there ever again.

I was too late getting my name on the Angel Tree list because my senior apartment didn't notify me in October. I called Salvation Army and explained what happened and I really needed the gift card and they basically told me to bad, so sad I have been donating to Salvation Army for over 50 years and it just broke my heart how callous they have become.

They over charged me by almost 20$ for clothes that were clearly kids sizes and kids brands. The manager told me they aren’t kids clothes even tho I not only found in kids section but we’re kids sizes and brands. It is supposed to be 1.99 for kids from size 6 up to 20. I got my son a few pair size 14/16 pants. Clearly kids. Clearly kids sizes and I found in kids section and she flat it told me no they aren’t kids. Like what? I won’t ever shop somewhere that gets their inventory for free and then still rips people off. Not cool. They either need to label clothes within prices or learn brands and children’s sizes. But either way won’t shop there again. And if you do I strongly recommend checking your receipt.bot that they’ll fix their mistake anyway.

The staff is very nice and is willing to find something specific if you need it.
Right now they have new pizza stones for only ten dollars! A great offer and in addition to a lot of new things in packages this place is a good option to go shopping as it has several new and obviously second-hand products.
The selection of clothing and shoes is very good and the prices are very affordable.
Highly recommended, it is one of my favorite stores to visit if I am looking for something specific.
The things you can find are in perfect and very good condition.

I have been stopping in here for the past couple months because it's near my allergist and I have found some great stuff! At pretty reasonable prices. Instead of being individually marked, most things are priced according to posted lists or signs, and only "special" items within those categories might have a higher individual price. To be honest I have mostly focused on dishes/ceramics/home goods to use either as cat bowls or smash for mosaics - and have found some great stuff! I also happened upon a stained glass turtle lamp and it works, YAY! They let you test stuff there if it is something electronic/with a plug. It does seem like they have good clothes for fair prices too and I need to go back when I have more time to sort through! The store is clean and well-lit, the staff are nice (but slow - definitely allow yourself plenty of time to check out) and it's big! Definitely worth checking out. They also accept donations there but I haven't done that yet, either.

3 times in the last month I or friends of mine have complained. You guys shouldn't have your open sign flashing on if you are not open.
