I went through suburban propane bach in 2017 because the company before was ripping us off badly when I called to find out about service I explained to them how I have some serious health issues and if something happened to me that everything would be okay for my wife.they set up a plan for me that I was paying a flat price every month and I wouldn't have to worry about running out of propane I never received a bill from them but I had to pay my bill on or before the 20 of the month in which I was every hear they contacted me and went over any changes with my billing and then send a paper I signed and returned now the person I always talked to no one nger works there and when I called to pay my bill I was told I could not pay what the agreement was for and was told that I had to pay a different amount and if I refuse to pay it that my service would not be ment then after paying it I was told that it's going to be 3 weeks out before anyone would be buy to fill my tank since then I have ran out of propane and we have no heat or got water 2 weeks prior I called them and ask if they could send someone to look at everything because we were smelling something strong and we didn't no if it was from the propane they said they would send someone out to look at it if they did no one let us no they were there or if they found anything no one came in and checked out appliance the person I spoke to on the phone was very rude and would not take the time to look at how we had things set up with you or the reason there was an agreement an d basically said we were being charged this amount but but this is how much it is now and if we didn't like it to go to a different company if this is how you treat your customer and don't stand behind the way things were worked out i rather just go to ssomeine else

Ordered, and paid for a delivery on Monday the 16th. I had 15% left and they promised a delivery within 7 days. By the following Wednesday I had to make my first call, they promised a delivery by Friday and told me I was never put on the schedule. Now I'm under 5% and Friday had come and gone so I'm forced to call again. After numerous call, I lost track of how many, I finally got a delivery. I kept getting the run-a-round from the service center and had to listen to them whine about how short handed they were. That's a you problem not a me problem. If you couldn't fill the order you should not have sold the product.

Suburban Propane is selling at $6.75 a gallon on January 28th, 2023 and palomino propane is selling at $3.50 a gallon. At what point does it become price gouging? Or illegal?

Had another large vendor in the area for a couple of years who began to fail us over the last few months, eventually letting us run out of propane altogether. Suburban was able to get me two tanks same day to get us up and running again, with a drop-off of over a dozen brand new tanks and a couple of cages within a week. Very friendly and helpful people to work with. Certainly recommend!

I recommend Suburban Propane so very highly! I have a cabin on the West Shore of Lake Tahoe for 19 years now. I had a propane supplier that was taken over by Amerigas several years ago. This winter AmeriGas left my home in a dangerous situation when they let my propane tank run dry. Their solution was to fill and lock my propane tank, that I own my I add, without my authorization! Their customer service department leaves you with no answers and no service. I dealt with this joke of a company for two months and they did nothing to help me. So I reached out to Suburban Propane in Sparks, Nevada. My sister-in-law highly recommend them and uses them. In less than a week they got out there, unlocked my tank and got propane back to my home. Michelle and her team were lifesavers for me! I can't thank them enough for what they did for me!

Place is closed but they don’t say that in the website they let you go there and there’s a sign on the door that says is closed

Ok I never have been there but on reading reviews I will take my service there...I noticed when a review is left and they post back to the customer it's the same one for every review they post back to from word to word...its not a caring post they send back ...this is not the place I want to do service with...

The absolute worst service. We've run out of propane, three days ago. Our furnace runs on gas. We have no heat in January in the VC Highlands. They were supposed to deliver three weeks ago but were behind due to weather. They were supposed to show Monday and didn't. Our house ran out of gas. Called Tuesday, said they would for sure come up-did not show. No one ever answers at the local office, have to go through the National Hotline every time and they have a hard time getting through. WE HAVE NO HEAT IN OUR HOME IN JANUARY BECAUSE OF SUBURBAN PROPANE.

We are in Lake Almanor at the whole area was evacuated because of the Dixie fire but we needed to get Propane up to the pumps and well house for the municipal water District and Suburban and there guy was helpful in making that happen, then I also had them come to my house and fill up my tank at the same time as I was down to 15%! The employee, Chris, was very helpful and a super nice guy!
