Bought the mystery jewelry vases and I know the expectations should be low cause it’s a mystery but both bases were $20 and not a single earring has a pair and 90% of it was broken jewelry. If it’s gonna be garbage at least price it accordingly that was such a scams. One ring has used lipgloss in it.

A friend had a yard sale a year ago.....and high end leather jackets and chaps were accidently put in the batch of items they took over to St. Vincent's thrift on Glendale....after their yard sale.
When I found out later that day....
I called and spoke to a "supervisor" that Monday after the weekend neighborhood yard sales....
I described each jacket, vest, etc. ....explained they were dropped off by mistake.
Then, my friend who had had the yard sale, went to the thrift store personally....
the staff at St.
Vincent's on Glendale showed her their collection area with piles of things, and said they would look for them and call one of us when they eventually went thru all the mountains of items....
she gave them her name, contact information etc. and they had mine also...
"They" somehow NEVER found all those expensive items???
And now, an entire year later August 2024.... conveniently....
they just Never were able to find, extricate, or whatever.....
any of my easily identifiable leathers from their piles of things from an entire year ago?!
I really expected to get those jackets, vests, chaps etc. back...but looks like someone there must've realized their value and Boosted what was NOT Meant for them!
I'm a person with disabilities and a Senior....Really heartbroken over this Loss, and apparently deceitful practice of promise to find and call one of us, so I could get my irreplaceable leathers back!!
Never donating or buying from St. Vincent's in any location Ever again!
It's truly Sad, and Disturbing that their Organization would allow their employees the opportunity to Steal from people who made sure to personally go to their location, and als called to alert them of items, that were Not Donated to them.
I can still file a Theft report at Sparks P.D. , so that's the one thing I can do, to protect the rest of the community from a so called Catholic Organization, who is employing Bad Actors and Apparently Big Time Thieves!?
Please donate to another organization, that actually does Good for the Community....
Not St. Vincent's!!

What is with everyone suddenly limiting their donation drop off hours?!?! They used to accept them until 5pm and now it's 4pm. No wonder Goodwill is getting all the donations.

My husband took two Santa's by mistake with other stuff, we went back an hour later, they didn't let us look for the Santa's, I showed pictures to manager and couple of employees, two days later I show up at store and they still found nothing, how can that be went it was dropped at that Glendale store. It been a month and nothing .this tell me someone is keeping the Santa's, I got those at Macy's 23 years ago, yes very nice.
THIFT, call themselves catholic. I would never donate or buy anything St Vincent. GOD BLESS

Great thrift store. Lots to buy. We also dropped off some things we no longer needed and the gentleman was awesome and very grateful.

great furniture selection, didn’t really see many small sizes in women’s sweaters, jackets, and vests.

Donation center was randomly closed. Please put donation drop off hours or unexpected closures on Google or your website. We drove an hour and they wouldn’t accept our donation. Waste of time.

We bring so much here to be donated. The personnel are so helpful in helping you unload things. Good bargains inside too!

Used to be my fav thrift store. They no longer have fitting rooms and don’t offer refunds or credits. Was such a bummer to hear for a postpartum mom who’s body is weird now. I can’t risk spending money just to hope things fit :(
