I recently moved here in hopes to have a better lifestyle due to the cheaper cost of living…but OH MY… This place is a scam. They price gouge, horrifically! Never in my life have I paid $51 for a cat’s nails to get trimmed. Mind you, the expensive city I moved here from had only charged between $14 & $20. Just wild. Additionally, when I took my cat here for his first ever exam to establish vet care two months ago… Dr. Malinas was condesending and rude. Like, do you not think I understand what my cat’s medical history is….?— Ive had him for 3 years. I know everything that is being said and its NOT that big of a deal… but its clear they wanted my money by basically cornering me into buying Viralys for my cat, which they charged $36 for…when you can purchase it from Amazon for about $24…They said my cat was going to need all his teeth pulled out if I didnt start giving this to him. Save your money and look elsewhere. Im sure you can find great care somewhere else…for reasonable cost, with more compassionate people. We will be finding another vet immediately. (By the way, i rarely leave negative reviews…but Im trying to warn yall who may be shopping around for a new vet).

Horrible...when we first started with them, they were great. Ownership change has impacted service. Poor at fulfilling service expectations. Vet is condescending. Once they get your business they no longer work toward keeping it. Have you bring your pet in and leave it all day, for a 2 hour procedure.....so they can get to the procedure when it suits them. No consideration for the pet waiting all day. Pricing has gone way up.

This is the very BEST place to take your fur baby for Healthcare. Dr. Malinas is so kind and takes her time to explain everything she finds after examination. The staff is very professional and kind.

The particular Dr we saw was condescending & lectured us on pretty much everything we were doing with our dog. She has ZERO patience for dogs that are scared & didn't even complete the exam, saying our dog was a "problem dog". Yet of course, we were charged full price. Our dog is sweet and has never acted the way he did that day....he was terrified of her, and honestly, so was I! She was so rude & patronizing to her vet tech, I don't understand how anyone can work with this lady. I will NEVER step foot in this place again. The one star is for the front desk, they were all very welcoming and sweet.

Unfortunately didn't have a good experience with this vet. The front desk staff are great, kind, and helpful. For that I give a star. Otherwise, it would be none. Dr. H was very condescending as well as her tech. I wouldn't recommend her. My friend had a better experience with a different doctor. I felt pushed and almost "feared" into taking a vaccine for my dog. They talked to me like I was stupid and felt lectured for giving my dog ONE chicken nugget within the past month. I was just trying to be honest, but it backfired and they completely ignored that fact and acted like I'm killing my dog. Gawd forbid she has a cheat day. I've seen other dogs live in harsher conditions that surely live a long life. I understand education, but to do it in such a rude and condescending manner is ridiculous. My dog is in great healthy shape. I do my best to provide a thriving lifestyle (nutritional diet, good physical activities, training, lots of love). I did not get one nice or welcome acknowledgment on her health status. Instead, I felt judged and profiled right from the start. I've done plenty yelp reviews for different establishments with my genuine honest opinion and share my experiences. Unfortunately, I did not find any quality here.

I like this place. Staff is very patient. I adopted my dog at the humane society, we have had him for a while now, but it takes him a moment to warm up to strangers. Staff took a little time to talk to him, give him pets and some treats. They did great. They quickly gave him physical and his shots. Called it a day and went home.

I went in for a checkup for my elderly dog. It took an hour and a half to even get back into the room and when we did we were met with DR. Melinas, i dont even know if i should call her an animal doctor because it seemed like she wanted to act like a therapist more than anything. I tried explaining the situation and why we hadnt got our dog in for a checkup (it was dropped on us and we couldnt get her in because the person who dropped her on us wasnt being responsive) anyways none of that mattered, i already felt horrible for the whole situation, but at least we had finally got her in after a month of tussling with the old owner. Dr. Melinas acted like it was our fault the dog had gotten worse and decided to stick up for the old owners abuse of the dog. I have never in my life felt so condescended towards until i met Dr. Melinas. It took everything in me not to completely lose it with how unprofessional she was. She is the reason no one wants to open up about things. Her attitude was absolutely disgusting and made me feel sick. Im never coming back here EVER again. From reading the other reviews its clear she has a problem, hope you get the help you need Kelly! You weirdo!

A long time used to be happy Customer, now Im bitter and angry. Dr Malinas helped my Family recently in regards to my dog who was elderly. Ended up taking my dog on january eighteenth for a visit and Dr Hess Seen my dog along with my parents and without even examining the dog for more than fifteen seconds gave an eight hundred dollar bill for x rays and medicine that had not even been determined that was needed. A few weeks later I brought my dog back for the same issue that I brought him for on the eighteenth and saw Dr Malinas. Already unhappy With the service given on the 18th. My dog was really sick and when explaining to the Doctor everything she was rude and her response was "Looks like ur gonna need to spend some money for some.diagnostics."
shes Uncompassionate, desensitized, and made my entire experience completely awful. She was more interested in getting my money to put my dog down to sleep. However never told me the reason why we were actually putting him to sleep. I ended up leaving extremely upset with No more answers than when I showed up and five hundred dollars worth of visits
I took my dog tp another vet that I took him for acupuncture. There is where I received exceptional care and an actual reason as to why we would be putting my dog down. I can tell you, took EVERYTHING inside me to not lose my cool with this Dr Malinas. The front office staff are great. Doing these reviews does no good because both Drs own this but I think you all should be aware if you are seeking compassion..Not gonna get it from this vet.

Dr. Kelly Malinas and Dr. Dawn Hess gave excellent and compassionate care to our fur babies over the years. We recently lost our 2 best friends a month apart. The Love, Care and Compassion by These Wonderful Doctors and their staff for us as well as our pets was truly remarkable and so appreciated. We are very thankful for the Great Care that was given to our Fur Babies.

All about the money! They make mistakes and blame others, specifically their clients. They are rude and condinsending . I will never return. My dog deserves much much better.
