My family and I went and checked out Rail City Garden Center today and had such a great time! They had such cute and unique gifts, with the most friendly staff! We didn’t spend much time walking around outside just due to it being a cold day for our little guy, but will definitely be back once it starts to warm up!

Called to see if they had a plant I was looking for, and an older woman picked up. I said; Hi, I am Kim, how are you? She replied back with mmhhmmm. Not even a "Hi, Kim. I am good. How are you? Or just a hello. Nope! all I got was mmhhmm. She ended having my plant and I let her know I would be down to pick it up. When I got there nobody was in the yard or by the front counter. I had to wait until a nice young her gal saw me and helped me.

A wonderful little nursery. Of course, this nursery is a little off the beaten path and is a little hidden. It is close to Legends Mall and the Water Park. It can be seen from the water park when in the Lazy River. I do feel like the employees are not as helpful as they can be. For instance, if you ask where a certain plant is located they say outside. LOL I appreciate a little more information and customer service. I came here in late summer to get some more herb plants for my kitchen. They still had a lot of seeds and of course a variety of plants, fountains, outside, and inside decorations.

Great selection of plants and everything else. Poor customer service at the register. I paid cash and was overcharged. Instead of giving me a cash refund, I was told it had to be refunded on a gift card. After 10 minutes of waiting and several other employees coming to help, I was finally given my cash back.

A bit overwhelming brand selection. But ironically limited product selection.

These people know nothing about growing marajuana plants, leave it to the experts elsewhere.

Vegetables plants were in great shape. And it just so happened they were giving away quart size tomatoes. Friendly staff

The plants I purchased here were infested with insects. They wouldn't take them back or make any sort of restitution nor offered any sort of help to get rid of them. Their only focus is on what money they took from me. One had spider mites which then spread to my other plants and the other had aphids. what a waste of money. I will not shop at this horrid place again. Not worth the money or trouble. Zero customer service/satisfaction.

What a great local spot for some awesome plants and flowers! The place is very inviting and warm. A tad hidden but I see it as a hidden gem. They have a good variety of plants and very helpful staff. They also sell fountains and live fish, chickens. The sales floor inside is very cute and well-decorated. You like eggs? They sell cage-free eggs here lol. I particularly loved all the herbs and fruit plants they have. Come by some time!!

I was looking for bails of straw for a landscaping project and called to ask… was told that they had only 1 available for 12.29 each… I drove to the store and found my way into the store… it’s behind another business on the in and out. Get in the store and was then told that the price is now $25 a bail but they had 4 bails left. I was told it would be $100 for four bails… crazy! Asking where the bails are located was told in the back somewhere… we drove around the parking lot and finally found them… waiting for 10 minutes and no one ever showed to load the truck or help us… we just did it ourselves and got out of there! Horrible service, support and pricing and would never recommend this store to anybody!

They are very rude at this place. They don't give you quality customer service. If you don't know what you're doing there don't even bother they can't help you with anything and they act like it's a bother when you have questions.

Lots of beautiful plants, shrubs, trees and flowers. Beautiful yard art too. Staff was very helpful in helping me find what I was looking for and even suggested other plants that deer may not eat or was similar to what I was looking for. It's a hidden gem... I had always wanted to stop and see this place but after going now I will go over and over. Nice water features amongst the gardens.

Wow this place is gorgeous. They have quality products at a decent price but Jez. The manager lady & guy are so Rude. The employees are all very kind and helpful but a lot of them are walking on eggshells when one of those two come around. Its sad. Should be a happy place. No one Needs to buy plants & Landscape decor but the managers treat their customers like we are criminals to be shunned upon. Very strange

I was a fan until I tried to return a dead plant. Bought 2 porcelain vines. One thrived and one never grew a leaf. Took the dead one back with the receipt within 30 days. Also had a photo of the good one. Owner had every excuse to blame me. Said I didn't water the plant. Then how did one survive if I was so negligent?? I managed to argue enough to get store credit. The plant only cost $20. He lost my business over it. I am including a photo of the one that did well.

I was just talking to my wife about the horrible owner of this place. We were at the register, just paid for a chicken garden statue, and realized it was missing a foot. We weren’t even asking for our money back, would have been happy to exchange or just have a store credit, and the owner said, and I quote ‘my customers are smart enough to inspect things before they buy them’, and refused to let us exchange it. What an incredible j**** We will never go back there, and I will do everything in my power to tell others not to go there. This was a few years ago and hopefully the j*** has retired, because the way to run a business is not by insulting your customers.Tho I guess we weren’t actually his customers. We weren’t good enough to shop there because we aren’t “smart enough”.—Edit: Reading other reviews here Ive learned this jerk’s name is Paul. Paul: you need to be a nicer person. Its good for business. There is no excuse for the way you treated us. If you cant be nice to people you should find another line of work.
