I've been bringing our dog "Socket" here since 2017 minus a year off in 2020 when we moved to North Valley from Sparks. Why did we come back to Sparks location? The groomers, cashiers, and store employees are nice, knowledgeable, friendly, attentive, and sincere in their love of animals. Not the same at Northtowne location. Excellent service with a smile can still be found at Petco on Lincoln in Sparks. Great selection of food, supplies and treats too. The groomers are the best. Easy online booking. Make the drive and you'll know what I mean. Will only go to Petco (Sparks).

Went to Petco to get some things. The shipment of new supplies were everywhere. They blocked some of the areas where the pets were so you couldn't see the animals. Short staffed or not, they should only bring out a little at a time. Not impressed at all. I couldn't see the birds due to all the cases of things stacked all around . I find it ridiculous that Petco's replies are ALL THE SAME, no matter what anyone's post is.

We miss Makaya! She was THE BEST groomer for our doodle, listened to our wants and did what was best for OUR dog. We've brought him back 2 times and both times they shave him after we have asked PLEASE don't shave the doodle........ DO NOT RECOMMEND. If they don't specialize in doodle cuts then admit it and don't offer the services.

I really like this Petco. Love the layout of the store and it feels like it has more than the other Petco. Although there's not usually a lot of staff they're all still super friendly and wonderful. My dog loves coming here and saying hi to absolutely everyone.

Of course, they have all different brands and kinds of pet food. The owner/manager works hard, as does the crew. They have pride in the establishment

I love this Petco for our puppy! They do her vaccines, have all the best toys, and the grooming service is top-notch (thanks Anna!)! Every staff member I've dealt with here has been incredibly kind & helpful. Totally recommend!

I love how big the store is, and how many options there are. However, the fish area is really just sad. Most of the betta fish appeared to be sick, almost all of the live plants were completely rotted, or dead. The other fish in the aquariums did not have much of anything in their tanks, and the water was filthy. I will definitely not be coming back, which is super unfortunate considering the limited options around here.

I took our grandson in yesterday to get two female guinea pigs. They were so super sweet and encouraging with him. Called back today to get an age, for vet appt, and once again great customer service.

Phil was really helpful and very courteous. I try to always use Petco, but recently their associates have sealed the deal with their courtesy and knowledge, great going Phil, Petco, hold on to this associate as he is a good one.

I would not recommend coming to this store for grooming. 1. the grooming department opens at 8 am, but your not allowed inside the store until 9am. The website states walk ins are welcome but when you get to the store they tell it's appointment only. The customer service at the store is horrible. The supervisor Keith was no help either, he shouldn't be in a management role. Worst store and customer services ever!

I'm so incredibly disappointed by this Petco grooming.. I've taken my dog there 3 times to get groomed (bath only) and never once did they tell me she struggled during the appointment. Everytime I came to pick her up that would say oh she did so good with the teeth cleaning! You'd think if she struggled during any part, they would let me know. So when I called today to schedule her again, the incredibly condescending girl who I talked to stated there was "a note" on her file saying she "struggles with the duration of the appointment" and that they recommend her coming in every 4-6 weeks. Again, NO ONE EVER TOLD ME THIS. EVER. I explained that to her, and she said (again super condescending) that they could "try" another time but if she struggles again then they can no longer take her in. Like wtf? I asked specifically what she struggles in and she said the bath and dryer portion. Like, are all dogs supposed to be angels to get groomed there? My dog is extremely non-aggressive so the most she could do is try and jump out of the bath every once in awhile but like, come on.. your job is literally giving dogs baths, you'd think they could handle a little struggle. It had been 3 months since her last visit, so since I wasn't in that 4-6 week recommended time frame now they're threatening to no longer accept her there. What a load of crap. Maybe if they were to tell me this during her last three appointments I would have scheduled her sooner! I always tip the girls super fat too because I know she's a big dog and a lot of work and they typically do a good job. Safe to say we will never be back. For further reference Petco, let your costumers know what's going on before threatening to 86 them! Unreal.
