Room was a little on the low end for what I'm accustom to. I would compare it to Circus Circus or a lower send hotel chain.
The service that caused such a low ranking was for Rosie's Cafe. Waiter had to be called over by a whistle, because he never came back after dropping off the low end Denny's level food, his tip reflected his poor service. Food....I had Spaghetti and meatballs. Reminded me of Chef Boy-r-dee Spaghettios and meatballs as a kid. Definitely not worth $20... maybe $10. Daughter had cob salad, it seemed to be what was left of a head of iceberg lettuce, leaf spines and all white lettuce. Husband had the chicken fried steak, toast was burnt black, eggs not cooked to desire, chicken hard as a rock. Finally got waiter back over, asked for a box... just to have to ask a second employee for one. Lots of employees walking around acting busy, but what customers that were in there (less than 20 easily), were waiting for service for multiple things, refills, checks, ordering, delivery of food. Met a couple in the elevator that was coming back from Jack in the Box, because they rather leave the hotel and get fast food than order from Rosie's again they said.
Location was fine. Right off freeway and easy to get to, however; parking lot is a bit of a hike and they need security patrolling because there were some questionable individuals.
Between the 3 rankings, we definitely would not stay here again... even if this is where the Reno Livestock Show is when we come next year and would not recommend to the other livestock families that we know.
I mean, I guess snobby sounding, but for the cost, I expect more. More than 2 pillows on the bed. The bathroom cleaner upon arrival. Parking to be better located and secure. Restaurants to cater better to the guests.

The staff are nice. But the shower backs up while taking a shower and you can not get the tub spout to stop, even when you get the shower head going. The fridge does not get cold (adjusted the temperature, still nothing). The a/c isnt working properly, rooms warm. The ice bucket has the wrong lid so you have to get ice 1 or 2 cups at a time.
I'm guessing it was a "manager" in regular cloths, but when we asked him where he got the paper plates he has he was rude while telling us his office.

Sometimes good sometimes nice sometimes bad. Kam from VIP is helpful and always help me with reservations and events

Kam was super awesome helping me with a mistake on schedule of my stay and ended up not having any trouble. There was a lot of people so I was worried.
Nearby activities: Walking distance across street to Galaxy movie theater.

Resort room was nice. But not quiet as nouse came in from hallways. Convention center has ridiculous walking distances to parking and especially bathrooms. Not nearly enough restrooms for accessibility and lots of wasted area in restrooms but no just seating areas. Or even no extra seating areas outside of conference rooms. And internet service is awful and desk help kind of rude about it with no on site tech service avaiable.
Rooms: Very nice room although it was a connecting room and could constantly hear neighbors next door
Safety: Elevators are a long way from entrance for disabled persons. And they go to the floors randomly not the ones you push button for or flag with electronic room key. Electronic room key takes multiple trys.

Walkability: It's relatively easy to walk around the Nugget it has various things to look at and plenty of slot machines!

Worse customer service ever! We checked in at 3am. They took down my card information. They said they would charge my card when the system was up and running. 3 hours later, they came banging on our door demanding my card information. Apparently no one told them that I already did that. Very very rude!
Will not ever stay here again!
No empathy whatsoever
UNLESS I GET AN APOLOGY AND/OR FREE NIGHTS, I WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN!!!

Booked a room online at Nugget Casino in Sparks. Stayed Fri and Sat. Nights, October 18th & 19th. Checked in late Friday night, around 8pm, was given a room on 9th floor, room 915. Showered in a tube that wouldn't drain. Woke up Saturday morning to discover that I slept in a dirty bed, worse, the bed cover and sheets had dried blood near my face covers. Made multiple calls to manager desk before someone from house keeping supervisor showed up to my room.
She agreed ed that the room was both dirty bed covering and she confirmed the drain was very slow draining as well.
She simply stated she'll have someone clean and replace bedding. No real apology or concern about my health both current or future from HIV or hepatitis.
Don't recommend staying at the Nugget in Sparks .
Never again for me and my family.
Noteworthy details: Room very noisy from both freeway traffic and outdoor concert, including railroad tracks noise as well.

Very expensive place, I booked my room for 14 days, and I paid almost 1400.00. Upon arrival, I was told there were resort fees of 600 to pay. Most of the staff wouldn't talk to you if you weren't tipping what they wanted. The room service was slow, and the food was cold and expensive.
The A/C in the rooms didn't cool right. It's just not my kind of place.
