Grocery outlet sucks they have only 1 cashier and 20 people waiting to pay. Plus the people that shop there look line bums waiting in line at the soup kitchen. First and last time I go there.

Well after shopping here for some time I was just told that they will be enforcing their no book bag policy. The first person I saw them apply this to was a black man (I'm sure this was just a coincidence) so I shared with the cashier I guess I will have to find some place else to shop, she said why? I said because this is a discriminatory policy. Personal note, in my shopping experience these policies are never applied equally, they are just a weak attempt to hide what ever ism the store owners and workers are too cowardly to say openly. These stores never take responsibility if your property that they tell you you have to leave gets stolen. That alone is why these policies should be illegal.
And another point, I've seen multiple does in this store and no employee checks to see if these are personal pet or service animals. It is against the law to pass off your personal pet as a service animal. What I realized is that this store gives more rights to an animal than a black man with a book bag!!!

I would stop here first before you do your main shopping cuz you might be able to get some good deals here on your favorite items everything is still the best same

Thursday 5/2 10:30 am. I went in with my 3 year old granddaughter to purchase coffee and coconut water. 3 year old had to potty so we asked an employee stocking OTC in first section of store. Female employee was rude to us about opening the restroom. She pointed to ripped/dirty sign on restroom door and said next time you have to go to checker to verify you’re a customer. She let us into restroom and there was no toilet paper. I told her there was no toilet paper but she walked back to her stocking. I found another male employee and he found tp and let us back in. I told him about original encounter. When we finished, the rude employee was outside the door and told me she hadn’t been rude. That she let me in right? I told her that she didn’t have to point to the sign and be rude. She told me that she never said that! Tried to gaslight me. When I called her out in it, she replied that she’s not going to argue because you have to be right. My granddaughter actually asked me why is the lady not telling the truth?
I bought the items I went in for but will not go back. Or to the one on Kietzke because someone told me they’re the same owners. For all I know this woman could be one of the owners and that’s why she thinks it’s ok to blatantly lie and be ugly to customers.

This used to be my favorite favorite store. I've been living here for 10 years and I was always my go-to store but five times in a row with a diabetic with me they always saying their bathroom is closed and I have observed them multiple times letting people in the restroom except for today. This is unacceptable. This is the worst grocery store ever is dirty. It's nasty expired food and I'm just over it. Won't be getting any more of my money.
