I should have left this review a few weeks ago when it happened but luckily I got the card of the person who helped us. I just found the card!My 80ish neighbor was given a Samsung smartphone and smart watch. I'm an iPhone person myself, but I got her set up on her phone. Unfortunately, I couldn't get the watch to pair with the phone. We tried to make an appointment with the Geek Squad and could never make that happen either. My 5 stars reflects our IN STORE experience. Trying to get through on the phone or internet to book an appointment SUCKED. Zero stars for that part of the system. We decided to try a walk-in to see the Geek Squad. There were people ahead of us so I asked at the customer service desk, if she could make us an appointment. I explained our frustration about not being able to call for an appointment. A lovely helpful conversation ensued with Ashley V. She asked to see the phone and watch. Luckily there were no people in the customer service line. She kept fiddling with everything. We stepped aside as she helped people who did get in line. One of those people told us how much she loves BestBuy BECAUSE customer service is so helpful!It took a while but Ashley was tenacious and she finally got the watch talking to the phone! And she did not charge anything. I was honestly shocked. I hadn't had a very good opinion of Best Buy in general, before this. But mostly due to return policies and warranties. This was my first experience with customer service. And it was great. I'm thinking I haven't been to this store for several years. It seems like management may have changed. I love this BestBuy now. And I'm looking forward to going back. Thank you Ashley!

I took my car in to get a new stereo installed. After waiting 2 weeks for an appointment, they gave me nothing but excuses for not being able to get the job done. They then charged me $30 for a wiring harness that they didn't know they would need, and made me wait another week for the follow up. Very disappointing, Best Buy, I've come to expect more from you.

Decided to go buy a new television from this particular best buy. I walked into the store and was not greeted like they normally greet the customers. The 2 guys at the front were too busy gossiping. I walked back to the TV section to see what they had, and the entire time I was in the store, no one came to assist or even ask if I needed help. After 15 min of standing in the tv section and even having an employee, look my way but completely ignore me I walked out of the store.on my way out there were now 3 guys who were standing at the front entrance gossiping. I ended up taking my business elsewhere to buy TV . It seemed that on this particular day, your employees cared more about their social life than helping customers. I do not recommend them at all.

Worst customer service ever. Received used product, charged for new. Wasted my time, did nothing to remedy the situation. Online customer service is a joke, told me to go to the same store. Returned my entire order. Manager was too busy to be disturbed with customer issues. Save your time and money, order directly from manufacturer.

Disappointing warranty and return policy. We purchased a power supply for a PC build. It was bad out of the box. This was the last one in stock or we would have delay purchasing it. We even joked about returning it and buying it again to have the warranty when we built it since it took time to get in other parts. They have a very short 15 day return policy so we now own a power supply that offers no power. The people at the store were nice, so I upgraded from one to two stars.

Best Buy....a 5 star service performance from Sales Advisor and Apple Pro Certified Saurabh Chawla. I had recently purchased a new iPad pro 12.9 And I had no protection for the screen...or a case. I came in and Saurabh professionally and meticulously cleaned and put on the glass protective cover over my iPad screen. Well done! It is an art and a skill to keep all dirt off and put on a clear protector over an iPad. I'm so impressed. 5 stars to you Saurabh. See you again. Julie A

I seem to have the best service from this company! My microwave hood combo started to smell like burn. It's 12 years old and used regularly so I assumed I'd better replace it. I'm selling this house so I just wanted a micro with a matching finish, no bells, no whistles. Luis was my salesperson. Couldn't have been more knowledgeable and willing to search for a unit that wasn't too expensive and would fit my space. I think he checked 5 different manufacturers trying to find the best option for me...and I was out the door in fewer than 20 mins!!! The clincher is that it'll be installed in 2 days. Life is good and Luis is the best!

I went to Best Buy today and spent about $85.00. Do you know what they asked? They asked if I wanted a bag and I said yes and they said bags cost 10 cents. I said that's a California thing and I was told yes and that Best Buy is the only one doing it so far. So let me get this straight, you already have higher prices than other stores and you think charging for bags is going to help sales? So the person who buys $600 worth of items is going to pay for the privilege of getting bags to carry it out of the store? I'll buy online before I pay for a bag. They need to keep that in California and not bring it here. I will not be shopping at Best Buy again. It's not the 10 cents, we are not California and do not need to copy California.

Ordered an unlocked mobile phone on Samsung website. It was ready for pick up here after a couple hours. The nice lady at the mobile counter even offered to set it up for me. Hunny is still stuck with her old phone. Lol!

We purchased a lot of electronics from Best Buy including their best service agreement. The only thing that was a disappointing, was the installation date, it took about a month and halffor the install. I have messed up doing my own installations with a couple of buddies in the pass and I was not about to mess this up since we paid thousands of dollars for our purchases. When the installation took place, it was easy to forget how long it took because two installers showed up; moved the TV that was in our master bedroom to our guest room and had both the new and old up and working in about 2 hours! Wall mounted with two new sound bars attached to the TV monitors! It has been about a month since the installations took place and are extremely happy we chose to have Best buys do it. Yes, I highly recommend them! A five star to the salesman and the installers! The wait was worth! All were very professional with no pressure.

Terrible phone headset he’s using or phone system. Talk breaks crackles and hissing and would not respond coherently- I just gave up after holding 15 minutes.

I purchased a back-up camera to be installed by the Geek Squad. I spent $15 at the carwash removing the mud from under my truck. I left the truck at Best Buy all day for the install. When we returned to retrieve my vehicle, it was not complete. Turns out the unit the Geek Squad member recommended did not fit my windshield. So, I exchanged it for a lower cost unit (and received a discount from the manager) and waited a week for the install. I was not happy with the install of the rear camera cable. As I mentioned, this is a truck, and the camera cable was loosely hanging under the body and draped over the inside of the wheel well. One part of the cable was just "tucked" under the mudflap. The camera itself was poking out from the top of the license plate, ready to be broken. I had to make the following correction's: Caulk the hole under my floor pan, where the cable came through, reroute the cable away from the wheel (I also enclosed the cable in a protective sheath) and I made a custom bracket to protect and hide the camera. I don't expect the Geek Squad to make a custom camera bracket, but the cable could of been routed better. One rock flying off the tire could have severed the cable. Also, the interior looked fine. Very professional. I have no problems with that. In conclusion, if you have a 4x4, you may have to make some mods. This post has been edited due to "complaints".

Unbelievably knowledgeable, helpful and fantastic prices. The store manager was amazingly helpful as well as the young man that help me with my laptop purchase AND the other young man with the 2 TV's we purchased. We'll always go back there.
