I ordered a Christmas Tree online and picked it up at the Spanish Springs Home Depot. I had it a few days. I wasn't sure I even needed a tree, but decided to assemble today. It was pretty easy at first. So I was happy I decided to keep it. The middle piece plugged in with no problem to the bottom piece. The top piece was very hard to plug into the middle piece and it looks like this plug may not hold up. I called and asked if they had more of these trees if I return it. There are no more in the entire Reno/Sparks area. She said bring it back for a refund. It is all assembled, so I asked if I bring the section in with the issue, and they can see what the problem is, would they give me some money off. I thought if it's cheap enough and only lasts a year or two I would just keep it. The gal said in a snotty tone, "You can't keep the item and get your money back." You need to box it back up and return it." I said sometimes other stores will discount items that have something wrong with them, so I thought I would ask. I didn't mean get it for free. She said again in a snotty tone "M'am your options are keep it or bring it back." Usually, this store is great, but not this time. So? I'm not sure what I'll do. What a pain. I moved furniture around too.

The service by Jerry is by far the best I have ever seen. Jerry is a wonderful person, great with kids and fur animals. He remembers your name and greets everyone boldly as they enter the store. He doesn't mind helping getting in there to do what is right and providing first class service. He should be the employee of the year based on his customer service. Epic guy!!

We love this Home Depot, great service and we can always find what we need. But..most important...Jerry!!! He is the best and deserves to be Employee of the month, every month! This man deserves a raise a promotion, something. We love him, he has always been so kind and helpful and just a joy to be around :) He is an exceptional employee and deserves recognition for his dedication to the store, its reputation and the customers. Thank you always Jerry for being such a good person. I love that he calls me "sis" every time he sees me and gives us hugs and handshakes. His knowledge is incredible :). Thank you again Jerry.

I recommend this Home Depot for one primary reason - JERRY!!!! Every time I see him, he is full of love and warmth, every time I ask where something is, he gets me right to it - he is SO kind and welcoming to EVERYONE!!! If there is a candidate who should be Employee of the Year, it's Jerry!!!!!

Went to Home Depot on Black Friday and Jerry was a warm cup of tea on a cold day! He was welcoming every single person that walked in and put smiles on peoples faces. Every time I go there he is always there with his bright and positive attitude! Jerry is the absolute best!

We absolutely love coming into our friendly Home Depot in Spanish Springs. Mainly because Jerry is usually there giving everyone a cheerful greeting and is so enthusiastic about his job. You can tell he makes the most of everyday and has a heart for service. He truly makes that place feel like home because he remembers people, is so helpful and friendly. He is a large part of the sparks small town charm and community feel that I hope continues as we grow!

The customer service as you walk in the door. Starts with Jerry. This man brightens your day. He know exactly where everything is so you can get what I need. Jerry never misses a person/customer or child. He does so with a smile on his face everyday. Jerry is upbeat, professional, and courteous.

This store is just like any other Home Depot but I go out of my way to come to this store because of Jerry. He remembers me everytime I come in and makes sure to say hello to me and see how he can help with a friendly and happy smile whenever I see him. He is my favorite part of shopping at this location!

I love this Home Depot, not because they have better organization or pricing, I make the drive for Jerry. He is the highlight of my Home Depot trips. I have said it for 10 years someone at corporate needs to get Jerry a massive raise or a higher position. Jerry has been there for us when our dog passed away, he calls me by name to ask me how my father is, remembers everything I tell him. And honestly, I have had Jerry find me products and tooling faster than any other employee at any Home Depot I've been too. He treats everybody like family. Thank you Jerry

This place just gets worse. The garden shop is suppose to open at 10 am. I went around and loaded my cart with pavers and was at the register at 10:05. The cashier shows up late and checked me out and then said I'm sorry you have to go through the store with this load but I don't have a key to the gate. I went to the front desk and was told the same thing, she has no key to the gate and if there is a shortage of cashiers this happens. There are 6 people beside the cashier in garden right now. Out of 7 people no one has or can get a key to the gate! So your customers have to push a heavy load through the store and then back to garden shop parking? I left at 10:20am and the door still was not open. I've spent over $5,000.00 here this year and I assure you they won't get another dime from me. As much as I dislike their competition, I'll shop there instead of home depot.

Today, and my 2nd out of last 3 times, while buying storage containers, my containers were inspected before even scanning one to purchase. It is insulting to be accused of there or trying to steal while on the self checkout lane they provide. They say it is store policy but if feels more like employee choice since it didn't happen one week ago. The manager came out and stated sorry you feel it insulted, "it is our store policy to do so" and excused himself. Obviously you would think he meant how it made a customer feel inspecting each and every container, however, he didn't make it feel that way as well. Over 25 years shopping here and they make you feel like that is a shame. It is a horrible way to business and you should think twice about self checkout. They assume the worst and do not feel like they are doing anything wrong. Bad business acting like you are bad company. Think twice, expect the insult
