My wife and I have stayed in many a Marriott property and although this property is about 10 minute away from the Reno action, it’s very near the freeway and tons of shopping and eating - a real value for the price.I would also like to make a special mention of their General Manager (Sheryl), if you’d ever like to truly feel special and welcome Sheryl is your girl …. Thanks Sheryl!

Great place for families with pets. Sheryl the gen manager was so welcoming and helpful. Told us about the Sparks Marine park which has an off leash dog park. Great breakfast and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would stop here again.

Clean, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, easy parking, easy access to the highway. Breakfast is fair, typical scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, bagels, and cold cereals. Would stay here again.

On a road trip we needed a stop over place for our family to spend the night. There are plenty of food options close by, including Door Dash options if you don't want to leave the hotel. Nice pool. Very clean. The room was comfortable and we could see our car from the hotel window which mattered to us because we were in the middle of a move and had a lot of things in the car and the trailer we were pulling. Highly recommend!

Room was oldish for the price. Still uses the magnetic strip cards like from the 1990 Pretty Women Penthouse room door scene. Should have stayed at the newer by Marriott by the new Casino down the road. Also, the toilet was too close to the paper roll holders. Especially for right handed folks if you catch my drift. Lastly the sign out front isn't working properly.

Called to make reservations for a night. Got a very rude agent. Spoke as if I was bothering her. First impression matter; will not stay there.

This location has improved since our last visit 2 weeks ago. Negatives: no hot tub. AC in room has only 1 speed. High. So to get a quieter room we actually shut it off. Positives: room was clean and smelled ok. Good breakfast. Hot coffee. Attentive staff.

We read the sign in the parking lot about parking at our on risk. Figured bike locked on top of car would be fine. Gone in the morning. The problem is the hotel had no security cameras. In our world today with risks for personal safety, let alone theft, how can a major hotel chain not have cameras. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Hate to think about what could have happened if we went to the car when the theft in process.

The night clerk behind the counter was friendly and helpful. I called from the road last minute, and he not only booked my reservation, but gave me detailed instructions on where the hotel was located. When I checked in, he again was helpful and kind. The room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast was top-notch.

Stayed for business with a group of my employees 2/21-2/23. If you're headed to Fallon, this is probably the closest hotel although not by much.Pros:- Lovely front desk staff - very friendly! Except for Larry the director of sales who checked me out of my room last day. Can't win them all.- Free ice water and fruit in the lobby all day.- You get to spin the wheel for a bonus of up to 1,000 Bonvoy points upon arrival. I love when properties do this!- Breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts we've had in a long time and had everything from your average continental selections to eggs and bacon and sausage, egg sandwiches, and even biscuits and gravy, etc. Hot and fresh, never empty, nice and clean breakfast area, good presentation. Fresh coffee.- Breakfast hostess/preparer was extremely friendly and kind! She was on top of everything from food to wiping down tables and everyone loved her and the breakfast.- Basic free wifi was sufficient for my work needs. Never lost connection. Didn't need to upgrade to paid version.- Rooms were slightly depressing but clean.- Located right off the freeway.- Free parking.Cons- Wall thermostat doesn't work.- No closet door which was weird.- Dirty coffee makers- Popcorn ceilings- Property is old and the rooms reflect that. Not under the employees' control but the rooms could use an upgrade for sure. Not really up to the standards I've seen at other Fairfields.- Rates are higher than they should be; much better deals can be had at nicer casinos and hotels a mere 4-6 miles away.- Not on par with Marriott branded properties. Lobby was decent and fairly updated. Rooms felt more like an old roadside motel.- Treadmill was broken! Packed all my gym clothes and shoes just to find out I wouldn't need them. Can't really run outside with snow on the ground so this was a major bummer.- There still is no housekeeping during your stay. In fact, I never even saw a housekeeper.Overall, our stay was good and the property was nice and quiet. We will not book here again because of my experience with Larry Cardarelli, but rest of the staff was great. If you are a Bonvoy member I do not think you will be satisfied. Suggest you spend less at a nicer hotel or casino for only another 5 minute drive. That's our plan for all of our upcoming trips back.

First off, while there is a pool, there is no hot tub. There is a laundry room, but only one washer and dryer. Our room had trash in it when we got it and I even found trash in the pool. They do allow dogs. There were plenty of furry friends here which was cool.

I have no issue with the room. It's clean. Can't connect laptop to WiFi. they use a web page to authorize access, which can't be accessed because the laptop isn't connected to the internet. Very smart. Doesn't grant limited access to authorize the laptop, but has no issue connecting my phone which is already connected to the internet.

The hotel is clean, but I didn’t see it as a Bonvoy managed hotel! Rooms are so old, with smelly carpets. The bathroom fan can be heard from outside the hotel!! Breakfast was as basic as you could imagine, not bad, but nothing special at all! It definitely needs a proper revamp. The lobby and breakfast areas are good but not upstairs! Parking is easy, plenty of it, and free. There’s a couple of restaurants beside the hotel and a gas station. Staff were so friendly and kind.
