Doctor Amanda Brock and her entire staff are second to none, they really care about your pet , and it shows, they know what they are doing and they do it very well, they will always keep you well informed, now add very competitive priceing, and you will never regret trusting them with your pet.I gave Dr. Brock and her staff 5 stars only because15 stars was not an option.

Best vet in all of Reno! Friendly, thorough, attentive and caring! Wouldn’t trust anyone else with my dogs.

I love this vet! Maya had been coming here for about a year and a half now, each time we come they are professional, caring, and timely! This morning our appointment was at 8:30 and we got here about 15 minutes early, they got us right in! I never feel like they are trying to sell me services that are unnecessary or are outrageously expensive. My favorite part is how they treat the animals, the vet is not her favorite place but they do a great job!

Love, Love, Love this place! From the moment you walk in the door you are greeted with the most friendliest staff at the front desk. They are very personable and you will not wait long to get into your room with your fur baby. Dr. Vittori was amazing at giving us the attention and options and opinions on what we should do with our situation with our kitty. Her assistant was amazing as well! We also had Dr. Brock for our other visit as well and she was just as amazing and gave us time to talk and listen. They treat the fur babies amazing! They do not rush you in and out of the room. We are so glad that we found a place that our fur babies are welcomed and we can get them in quick if they need to get in for an appointment.

A lot to say here. We give great marks for the hospital and staff, yet my frustration is more about some comments I see here from other reviewers. More about that in a minute. I'm certainly not as knowledgeable about pet health as a Vet, so I never second guess their recommendations, yet I attended medical school and know a lot about human health that I apply "some" of that to our dog. We are not greatly different from our 4-legged friends. With pets, often more knowledge is needed than an MD since there is such a variety of breeds with different problems, unlike us. Our visit yesterday was similar to past ones. Dr. Vittori takes the time necessary to discuss the health of our dog and answer all of our questions without us feeling rushed to get out of the office. She and her assistant (Jessica) are always pleasant, respectful, and cheerful, yet know when to be neutral and serious if things aren't going well with Coco. Dr. Vittori explains situations and health in great way with background information, makes recommendations and the reasons, but does not twist an arm to do test. They lay out the choices and allow you to decide what you want to do. If you are smart and can afford it; you take the recommendations. Now for comments in some of the reviews. Obviously just my different opinion. I NEVER take into consideration a low rated review like the one I see below from "UNKNOWN" whom only has one review on Yelp and it is this one; no name, no photo, no info. So my guess is a competitor or disgruntled past employee. Secondly, I see comments about cost of medications, and tests. Although this facility is in line or even less expensive than other facilities, keep in mind that pet tests and medications are still much less costly than us humans for similar types of illnesses. From decades of experience in the medical profession, I assure you that all that money surely is not going to the Vet. Manufacturers of medications make the most money. Don't blame your Vet. Also, some of the more expensive equipment is leased and has to be maintained, and calibrated regularly. Then the blood tests are always done by outside labs that make most the money. For those who want to complain about cost to keep your pet healthy, consider you want the best of doctors and insurance for yourself. If you are concerned that you don't want to pay for some remedies to your cat or dog, then you should not have a pet in the first place. You are only acting in the interest of your pocketbook and not the best interest of your pet's well being and quality of life.

Amazing place, super friendly staff, knowledable and compassionate doctors who take sufficient time to make sure your four-legged companion gets the best treatment.

A great team of individuals who obviously love all animals. They were accommodating and informative. Office is a little dated but their care seemed to be top notch.

Worst Place Ever. Old Lady upfront is disgusting and rude. I've heard them through the walls calling people rude things. It's Messy, not clean. Denied me service a couple times because "schedule is booked". They do not know what they are doing. I wouldn't got there if I were you, too expensive for little to no work. Very sad and disappointing.

Always so nice to find a Vet that cares for my pet like they would their own. Wasn't from this area but it was recommended. They got me in and my dog was very well taken care of. Love the entire staff. Wont being seeing anyone else! Thank you Gary

What an amazing staff! I took my puppy to Desert Hills Animal Hospital for her first puppy exam since bringing her home from the shelter and everyone of the staff members from the front office to the doctor was so friendly and sweet. They loved my baby and I felt so comfortable with them. The cost was inexpensive.

It is the least expensive animal clinic I have found so far. The only one where they haven't tried to talk me into having a bunch of test and other stuff done to my dog. Even though there was a mix up with my appointment date, they were able to accommodate me and have a vet see my dog within just a few minutes. I think I have found a new vet!

It so nice to go to a Veterinary clinic with happy, caring, and loving people who work there. Front desk ladies are excellent. Thank Dr. Vitori and Rachel for taking care of my Dolly and Nemo, they can be a handful. Everyone is kind and professional. This is truly a safe place for your fur babies.

I was terrified of taking my old 14 year old Oliver to the Vet. It had been years. Ease of scheduling was great. Dr Vittori Explained everything that needed to be done and why. She actually called me personally to tell me about lab results and she gave me a very reasonable quotefor a dental surgery that might be coming up. Im very happy I finally made the appointment & feel confident she will take care of my boy.
