An absolute waste of my time! My dog is sick and these guys are the only place open. I rush over at 7:30am just to be told no doctor is there today, try some place else. Maybe advertise that so people like me don’t waste our time with a sick animal in tow. No wonder their rating is at 3.7. Won’t make this mistake again!

Care for our dog was good. However, after she was put down, they expected us to continue to pay for the wellness plan! No compassion for the loss of our pet.

We are absolutely loyal to our Banfield. The entire staff is amazing. Dr. LARKIN, Allison, the front desk staff... everyone. We have a pack of bulldogs we love deeply and we trust their special needs and care to this team without a second thought. We consider our Banfield care team family. Our pets are our life. We are so grateful.

It's unfortunate that after so many years of taking my animals to Banfield, I have to change my review from 5 stars to 1. They have gone severely downhill, as a lot of techs and doctors have left this facility. My dog has been on a medication that keeps him alive for about 3 or 4 years now. About 4 months ago, we ordered his medication as normal, and Banfield denied it 4 days after I requested it to say I had to bring him in again before they could fill it. I understand it was "Nevada Law to be seen by a new doctor" but the fact that they waited FOUR DAYS to tell me I needed to bring him in before they would give him his life saving medication is bad business. After I paid $400 for them to confirm that he indeed still needed this medication, they still drag their feet to fill the prescription, causing me to ration his medicine until I can pick it up. I am currently shopping around for another vet. I will never recommend Banfield to anyone.

VERY disappointed that they wanted to charge $70 for a "check up" to become an "established patient" for a $25 puppy nail trim.In and out at Barks NV Salon and Spa on Greenbrae in Sparks for $15! And we're an established client ?

I pay for the pet plan for 6 dogs. I have a sick dog and they wouldn't see her , they are very rude and I cant believe it . I pay around 500.00 a month and they say they take walk ins but they don’t they wont even see the dog that have been going there for years . HEARTLESS

This is my reason for signing up for their puppy care plan. 24/7 phone chats, vaccinations, and office visits are included. The grooming Salon is there if I need. All his favorite toys and sweet potato treats. And oh my, there is a dollar store right next door! Some of them have great bags of training treats! Perfect! O gotta check that out next time.. ??

After giving them the entire medical packet for my cat they still gave him a shot he did not need for 9 months and charged us for it. This is unacceptable business practice and I would not trust them with any animal again.

I haven't really been to Banfield pet hospital but since it's inside of PetSmart, Google insists that I have been. So much for algorithms and AI.This happens all the time and it usually resolves itself eventually. When it doesn't resolve, I post a 5 star review so I get stupid points, and my review of the place I've not visited doesn't suffer a bad review.I do know a couple friends who use Banfield and they don't complain so I guess they're satisfied

Seriously considering leaving Banfield. They used to be so great and awesome until they took away in room visits. Now you can only get "drop offs" for you pet to sit and wait in a kennel to be seen for hours, you never get to communicate with your vet of have face to face conversation about any concerns you have with your pet, AND you're waiting around for them to call you to pick them up which you never know when that will be. Lastly, they are constantly telling you to take your pet to the emergency for things that aren't life threatening but something that should be evaluated sooner than a couple months out. They used to never be like this, I'm extremely disappointed and frustrated with the system they've chosen to move to and there are no indications of going back to having good, quality face to face conversations about what's going on with your pet to their vet.

If you're looking to visit Banfield here, you have 50/50 shot of either a decent experience or get disrespected and talked down to with possibly getting an appointment in the next 30 - 45 days. Pay for their pet insurance and get instructed to use the emergency vet if they need to been seen sooner than the 30 - 45 day wait time. This Banfield has a turn around rate with veterinarian's that it's impossible to build a relationship with one because within the last six years they leave to another competitor within under a year and you start up with a fresh one. After Kyle left this, Banfield has been a slowly sinking ship. There are not a lot of choices in Spanish Springs. This was a great place for a couple of years until the vets started leaving one after the other. Have seven animals on their insurance with Banfield canceling three different appointments in the last four months due to a shortage of doctors and being told to try the Reno location or one of the emergency vets if my pet(s) need to be seen sooner. Only Banfield takes their pet insurance. Getting a call back is practically impossible, and if the female napoleon answer's get ready for that conversation if she doesn't put you on hold for thirty minutes.

If their own vets are leaving, what's really going on here? Can't get staff to call back. Something changed at Reno & Sparks since Jan 2023! Why would 5 vets leave in a few months? Loved these places for years. What happened??

Very compassionate, especially when I found out my cat had cancer and was very ill. So he didn't suffer I put him to sleep.
