This is an amazing but small family-oriented shop that turns out extremely high-end work! If you need your pre 1976 vehicle done this is a place to take it!

Good work

Don't go here.
I turned my bronco in June of 2023 to have a coyote motor in it. Prior to they made me pay nearly in full ahead of the work being done. Seemed slightly suspect and now I know why. They asked for 100% of the parts and 70% of the labor. Being so close to the total, I opted to just pay in full, to show my good graces. In hopes they would do a good job on it, and wrap up when they said they would, as I used the bronco as my winter vehicle/ work truck and hunting truck. They seemed to be doing a few coyote swaps, so they seemed legit.
First thing is first. They promised at least a gen 2 used coyote motor, with less than 60k miles. First motor they got for me was a gen 1 (2013) with 62k miles. I asked them to get another motor, which the next one that came in was a gen 2 with 64k miles. Eventually it wore on me with the back and forth and I opted for a $3k credit.
They said the job would be done in a couple of months and any reasonable person would assume they mean two months, with a little wiggle room. Well it’s over 9 months later and I still don’t have my bronco back.
I August they email me saying that the coyote motor won’t work with the current transmission, when they assured me at the beginning it would prior to me making my decision. They said they thought the bronco had an AOD transmission, when I knew I had told them it had an E40D. It took me a while to find proof, but it was on the original estimate. So they force me into putting a different transmission in at the point, since I was beyond the point of return.
Already starting to see the writing on the wall, I started having conversations with lawyers to see what my options were. They advised that for now, I go down and talk with them.
Now September, past the original timeline, they said they were waiting on the engine harness still. Upon my lawyers advice, I went down to talk to them. I was told many times that the harness company is a fault. They pointed to a harness that would not fit another gen 2 coyote project and I looked at the year range on the box the harness arrived in. It was for a gen 1 I advised them. They went into an office and minutes later came out and said that was the harness for my motor. Not sure why I had to point that out.
Now getting into December, still no word. Hear from them in January and it’s still not even close. End of January, I give them some options to appease me. They don’t want any part of it. It’s excuse after excuse from this company and they always try and put the blame on someone else. They blamed Hot August nights, a baby coming into the family, wiring harness company, a power steering company. Nothing was ever their fault.
I talked to a few other reputable mechincs and they all seemed to think the original two months was too long for this job. A straight motor swap by the book is a 12 hour job. This should have involved some motor mounts, wiring and a few other odds and ends in addition to a normal motor swap. Maybe a three week project at best, with some wiggle room to get certain parts in. In which case they didn’t even think of that the stock fuel pump in the bronco wouldn’t work with the new motor. One with a higher fuel rate had to be used. Had to point that out as well.
Finally had it when they tried to test drive it and said only one bank was working and tried to blame the engine harness company again. They are completely incompetent and a chop shop at best. So I had to settle on a now working vehicle and now out nearly $20k. They have refused any refund or any work arounds. This are the cliff notes as well to not have a 10 page review. Help me put them out of business. This is how they treat a veteran. They should not be in this town.

Worst shop ever. Shoddiest work ever. They had my car for four years, took a lot of money up front and did not deliver on anything. The work was horrible. I had to pull the car apart and start over. The paint peeled off. Kinked brake lines. Engine did not run. Driveshaft rubbed on the floor. Anything they touched was wrong. Stay far away from this place.

By far the worst experience in auto repair in my life. My advice STAY AWAY!1st when I picked up my car and drove it home the cooling fan wasn't working and my door detent assembly fell apart. Which you built and when asked when you could fix these items I was told your too busy.. THAT'S HOW YOU TAKE CARE OF YOUR CUSTOMERS???Plus 90% of my parts were not wrong. That's a FLAT OUT LIE!! plus your employee stole my cup holder and never paid me. Approximately 100 hours of labor took from 8/2/22 to 4/14/23 and you call that good?? I pity anybody doing business with you. Thankfully my nightmare with this so called Restoration shop is OVER!!

I can’t say enough good things about this business. Their assistance with identifying/obtaining necessary parts, quality of painting, mechanical, and upholstery work, attention to detail, it’s all there for you. I’ve taken several cars there for work over the past 25 years, and their motto on the front of the building - which says something like “if you can dream it, we can build it” - is certainly true. Highly recommend it as a wonderful family-owned business.

I had my Ford Bronco restored by B&T and as it did take longer than we anticipated with Covid 19 and some unforeseen issues that we experienced along the way Leighton & the crew went out of there way to make sure it was correct before it left. I had a couple little things that came up down the road they took care of with no problem or expense! The shop exceeded my expectations THANKS GUYS!

I have a friend who brought their car in for full restoration in November of 2019 still yet to this day they still have not gotten their car back. No communication unless seeked by them. This is so frustrating for them now that they have failed again another deadline they have set for my friend and still has no car to show for hot august nights which is this week. Very unprofessional I think and to keep getting the run around is pathetic. Would not recommend. Take your car somewhere else.

Just completed work on my 1968 Camaro Z28. B&T was recommended to me by Steve's Upholstery.Vehicle was a nut and bolt restoration that came out of Wyoming/Elko Nevada in 2017. I knew there were some issues with the vehicle when I purchased it. Steve's Upholstery took care of the majority of interior issues when I first got it.After putting some miles on the vehicle over three years, I took it to B&T for front brakes, emergency brake work, divorce choke install, install tach, speedo fix, and extend seat slides. They completed this work and had some observations/recommendations which follow.Next stage was to fix head gaskets, header gaskets, timing chain gasket, rear seal, and differential leaks. Did a pressure charge on the cooling system prior to work to confirm leaks. Tore down the engine, and inspected oil pan. Discovered paint residue and metallics in pan. Main Main bearings were scored, so authorized replacement.During reassembly they upgraded minor components they thought should be done (oil pressure switch, fuel pump push rod).During one of my inspections during work, we noted that there were some exhaust leaks at the muffler welds and other points. They dissasembeled, cleaned, and rewelded at a number of areas, repainting after the work.Mason and Leighton were very communicative through the whole process, and requoted work when items were added. Took care to use correct components to retain originality of car. Great shop!

These folks did an excellent job on my 1967 Corvette. The entire family and employees were very involved and onboard with whatever needed to be done. There were several complicated and sophisticated mechanical jobs to be performed, and they even requested that I come to the shop several times to ensure that I was satisfied with a color match on a paint job they were doing.

I have had B&T work on several of my old cars (67 Firebird, 70 Lemans, 68 C-10 etc.) Always have had good results. Young mechanic by the name of Mike rebuilt my Edelbrock carb so it would handle the higher altitude.ran like a charm. Was having front end problem after a different garage tried to rebuild the A-Frames on a 68 C-10. B&T fixed the problem. If you go there expecting to "rush" them through your job, I would recommend you not because they do it right the first time. I've seen a lot of their work and in comparison to other so called restoration shops, B&T is much better.

B&T did an amazing job on my 67 Chevy 2 Nova. It's been over 4 years now and my car is a show winner. One of the most common questions I get is ( who painted your car.) They took what a lot of people would consider a pile of junk and turned it into a work of art. I highly recommend B&T.
