Showed up on time and did what they said they would do for the quoted price. No complaints at all, great communication and service.

I moved from Sparks, NV to Charlotte, NC. I had a 4 bedroom house with a lot of breakable items and absolutely nothing was broken on arrival. The packers as well as the driver and his crew handled my property as though it were their own. It was one of the smoothest moves I’ve ever had. The only problem was that the affiliate United Auto Transportation LLC wasn’t a door to door transport. I didn’t know this until the day before pickup so there was no time to switch it. As for the moving team, I couldn’t rate them any higher. Excellent!

If you don’t mind having all your beds, desks, and furniture taken apart and only some items reassembled, some damaged, and most not properly reassembled once delivered, then this is the moving company for you. They are professional and “trustworthy” with the price and moving items but their system is awful. They packed items we were taking with us and put bright orange tape on them that said stay. You will be reassembling your furniture for weeks afterwards and peeling their little stickers off your items for months. Their tracking stickers mean nothing other than show. I took several items with me that had their tracking stickers on them and of course they marked them off as being on their truck and delivered. I don’t think they really visually mark off anything. I could have saved money and hassle by renting a truck, having professional loaders load and unload and had all my stuff in tact on the back end. It will take weeks or longer undue what they did. I have to figure out what screws and parts go to what and reassemble everything. The items that were reassembled had screws missing or not put together properly. Assembly takes much longer than disassembly so do you think your unloaders want to spend a day or two putting your furniture back together. They want to unload as quickly as possible assemble what they have to quickly and be done. I knew nothing would be assembled properly when I saw them taking apart everything. If you can fix their horrendous process of disassembly and have professional assembly hired and time allowed on the back end then they might be okay to go with. We packed all of our boxes relight side up. Many of them were loaded upside down. It took the truck 10 days to get to its destination. It was cross country and that did not bother me so much as you get no communication as to when they will arrive. I’d recommend a tracking device with your stuff.

Im in the military, called them and they told me they will deliver it on a specific date and on that day nobody come called and the person on the lime have horribe customer service way of talking to people she talks as if you're d*** rather than being helpful and provide options or making the conversation go smooth, on the other hand my delivery of my stuffs got moved without a call or email whatsoever i will not recommend this for any military who is about to PCS.

If I could give them no stars I would! Horrible customer service. No courtesy to call and tell me they couldn't make my appointment for an estimate. I had to miss work with no pay for their mistake and disrespect for others.

I AM NEVER USING YOUR COMPANY AGAIN AND I'M TELLING EVERYONE I KNOW! My husband scheduled an appt for Dave to come to my house to give me a quote for my move in July 2019. Dave came out as scheduled on May 28th and was very nice and friendly. He CONSISTENTLY complimented us on how we were planning this move ahead and that he always gets clients who call a week ahead (last minute for the company to plan a move) that they were currently turning people away because they were booked out. He PROMISED (used that word) to email us a quote no later than the next morning (the morning of the 8th) because he had other people and houses to see for quote. My husband had to call and remind them to email us the quote, and thus we got the email on June 7th (a week after the "promised" date). The email said "I will be in touch with you soon to follow up and discuss our bid and the service outline, or you are welcome to contact me anytime." Well we waited for contact, and we have not heard anything. So, my husband called today, July 3rd (4 WEEKS LATER, 3 WEEKS FROM MY MOVING DATE) to see what was going on. He called Dave directly and asked "We wanted to know if we are still on the schedule for July 25th to move." Dave replies "Oh, no you're not on the schedule. We are booked out til the end of August." Dave even had the nerve to say, "Oh yea, I remember going to your wife's house. She's really nice!" You don't follow up on your clients at all and just don't care?? You shouldn't have in your emails that you are going to contact us, let alone "promise" verbally to get us a quote and just flat out not do it! We made it VERY CLEAR WE WANTED TO USE YOU AS A COMPANY. What a horrible business! Aren't you people partnered with Allied? This CAN'T be a good image for them AT ALL! And all these verbal compliments "oh thanks so much for scheduling this out far in advance, we really appreciate it", "thank your husband for his military service, we will be sure to give you a military discount" and "oh yea, I remember going to your wife's house, she's really nice" you really know how to butter up your clients and S*** on them last minute. FAKE PEOPLE, BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE, DON'T FOLLOW UP ON THEIR CLIENTS, and by the looks of their OTHER 1 STAR REVIEWS, they PICK and CHOOSE who they want to schedule or not. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!

We did an interstate move and the local company to finish the move was Colonial Van & Storage. The mover that came out to assist with the unload was great, so I want to be clear about that. However.... We ended up with a lot of boxes that needed to be removed as would be expected. We called 1 week after the move and were told the "dispatcher" would call us to arrange pickup. We did not hear anything. After another week I called again and was told it would be at least 2 or 3 more weeks as they were "busy." By this time I have disposed of enough boxes so that we are down to just 18 boxes. 2 - 3 more weeks!! How hard is it to roll a van or a truck up and remove the boxes. Pathetic. Extremely POOR finish to an otherwise good move. If I ever have to move from this house, I would NOT consider Colonial.
