they did a "full" inspection on my vehicle and then less than a month later we discovered that my brake line was rubbing on the frame and it had worn to the metal and I could have lost my brakes. It was clear it had been wearing longer than a month. They refused to refund me the money for the inspection. offered me a credit. I would NEVER take my car there. its not the end of the world if your car doesn't start but it could be the end of the world if your vehicle doesnt STOP. BEWARE!!!!

Bad. And expensive. And: a little _Apathetic_.
They seemed nice [or cool], at first. Going to get some Premiere Oil Change — for $ 150.
Maybe they were more interested—in helping me—when…
They almost had me talked into getting Spark Plugs (and coils or wires) — for $ 1, 100.
I thought that sounded high… (said I needed to think about it—called a Mechanic friend), then told ‘em No, before I left.
So, they call me the next day: Say they can’t work on it, after all. Not even an oil change.
It’s an old RV—I just bought.
They give 2 reasons:
1. Said the side mirrors wouldn’t fit [thru the bay door]. And I’m like: “Couldn’t they remove those ?”
Then: They tried to raise it up, outside.
But, like: They took one look—and I quote: “There were a bunch of Black Widows, underneath it. So, the guy wouldn’t work on it.”
I’m like: “What the Hell ?” [thinking that]. But I asked about it — double-checked, in person — after talking on the phone.
“Could they just take a broom, and wipe them off?”
But: No. “There were like 3 or 4 big Black Widows. And there could be babies…
My guy said he didn’t wanna work on it, and I told him OK.”
So, I’m walking away, like: “What a bunch of cowards…”
Or: # Help a brother out !
# You had one job

They will rob you. They charge $200 an hour for labor, I paid over $1,000 on just my front brakes alone. Not worth paying that expense. 1 star due to cost related reasons and shameless price hiking.

Excellent service and quality work. Technicians do a very thorough inspection and always have been up front and honest regarding any estimates or work that needs to be done. If repairs are needed, the job is explained to me thoroughly, with photos and price options. I trust Allen's to work on all my personal and work vehicles. Communication is key, and Allen's goes above and beyond to make sure I'm well informed on my vehicles condition. That goes a long way.
