Terrible experience. My fleet vehicle was hit by another contractors fleet vehicle , both parties had very good insurance and paid the bill promptly. Owner at A1 repeatedly tried to overcharge the insurance of the party who hit my vehicle. Refused to return my fleet vehicle after the work was completed. Do not trust or work with this company!

Took my truck to get a repair estimate. Office staff is friendly and knowledgeable and after completing paperwork, took pictures and promptly completed the estimate. It was the third one I'd gotten and had the best price, so I accepted it and they ordered the part. Two days later, they called to let me know that it was in and set up an appointment to have the work done. I'll update when completed. Im a disabled vet and I was happy to see that they gave me a veterans discount. Neither of the other shops did this. Their estimate was considerably lower than the others. The shop and office were very clean as were the uniforms worn by shop staff.

Today was my appointment to get my truck repaired. It was done in a timely and professional manner. They had estimated 2 hours for the work. I told them that I would wait and they said that they would get it done ASAP. It took them about 50 minutes and it was ready to go! They were also the only shop to offer me a discount for being a veteran. Everyone there thanked me for my service, which I appreciate. I strongly recommend this shop.

Dena at the front desk was very kind and helpful over the phone and even more so in person. She explained thoroughly what they could do to fix my vehicles issues and made me feel like I’d be leaving it in great hands! I would recommend A1 to anyone looking for any sort of repair hands down!

Incompetence personified. My insurance company highly recommended this Auto body shop. I am deeply sorry I took that advise. I hit a coyote in November and I am finally getting my car back in April. I will have to find another body shop to finish the work and repair the damage cause by A1. I was postponed for weeks and was even promised several times a return date, none of which came true. The final blow came when they told me I could not pick up the car on the date promised because they had another priority job ahead of mine. The inspection day they get there money up front before they will show you the car. I was surprised at how poor the quality of the work. Paint drips running and sand blast hole across the car that were not there before. These people are incompetent.

I am reviewing on one the few individuals that you will encounter in life who has all of the following rare and valuable qualities in a service professional: excellent communicator, fearlessness with respect to challenges or obstacles, operates with genuine integrity and clearly concerned about the customers' experience.
In my opinion, A-1 should really be named 'Johnny Martinez' Body Shop because he is the spirit and soul of this company. If you have a vehicle body issue, you would be well served to take my word and introduce yourself to Mr. Johnny Martinez. A-1 may not be the least expensive or necessarily the fastest but I have no doubt that if you work with Johnny, you will ultimately be glad that you trusted him to repair your vehicle - he is simply an excellent advocate and professional.

The good news: they saved me a bunch of money compared to other estimates, did a great job on the body work, and communicated well. The bad news: the interior was a mess (big boot prints on the back seat rug, scuff marks and smudges on the door as if someone couldn't get in and out without kicking the door), and when I got there to pick it up they told me it was in the closest lot which it wasn't, and it was buried in snow. Fortunately there was a guy walking across the parking lot and he got a broom to clear off some of the snow and pull it out for me. Today I found someone else's key in my cup holder so if you took your black 2013 mustang there, I have your key! Individually these things would not have warranted a bad review but cumulatively they do.

I've been sitting on this review for a while because I've never been a person to talk badly on a business. But I'm hoping this review helps others in their search. I would rate this company 0 stars if I could. My car was in the auto shop from February 2023-August 2023 for a minor repair to the back right of car. I was without a car for 7 months and was just laid off from my job. My car was put in the shop in February and didn't get worked on until June. Mind you my car was still driveable even with the damage. (See attached picture). They did not communicate at all on any updates for the car. Id call in every month to get an update. I was told a different story every time. Oh the parts on back order. Oh the insurance hasn't paid us. It was a constant back and fourth of having to communicate to the other parties insurance because the auto shop wasn't following up causing my car so it would just be sitting in the lot for months at a time. Yes I understand, parts are sometimes on back order. But NEVER did I receive any communication that these problems were happening until I asked. I was renting cars to try to find a new job. I was dumping a lot out financially and emotionally to try to make things work. I came into the office multiple times crying for answers cause I kept getting informed wrong time lines on when it would be ready specifically from Steve Martinez. It came to the point where I refused to even talk to Steve and would only communicate directly with the manager. Come the final month, I went in and begged for my car to be released telling them that it's heavily affecting my life. The said it was driveable but still wouldn't release it to me cause the insurance hadn't paid when they did. I finally provided recipets from them. They said they were still waiting on the last piece and wanted me to wait but I set my foot down and told them I'm taking the car and you guys can call me when you have it. A month later I call them because I still haven't heard back and they said "oh the part is sitting here on my desk just came in" and it was a 2 inch piece plastic that covered a small hole on the inside of the back passenger door. THAT was the part that I had to fight them on releasing my car to me. They knew how much this was affecting my life but yet had 0 sense of urgency. They would say oh yeah we got the part in. Then I would email for an update weeks later "oh yeah we're just getting started on it". If you guys don't have the bandwidth for this many cars. DONT TAKE IN MORE. They are literally ruining peoples lives with their lack of communication and urgency. I can only imagine how many other customers were affected like this. Like I said, I understand things happen but communicate with your customers. Don't tell them the wrong time lines. Don't have our cars just sitting there when they are ready with parts to be repaired after MONTHS of waiting. This shop has 0 sense of sympathy on how they are affecting their customers lives.

i crashed my Jeep and brought it to A1. Johnny and his team were exceptional. They handled everything for me. Helped me file a claim with my insurance company and walked me thru the entire process and repairs. Outstanding work to the entire A1 staff. I will refer all my family and friends
