I am so sorry to be making this post and I pray there is a positive change soon! This post office is unprofessional. Rude. Packages go missing from this post office (even though tracking numbers prove they make it to the office!). When mail does arrive is shoved into your PO Box and damaged. The "small town" atmosphere does not apply here.

Honestly, I read the reviews before going here, was expecting the worst, and I now have absolutely no idea what the hullabaloo was about. I had a very pleasant experience, didn't have to wait in line at all, was given really nice customer service and went happily on my day. Not that I physically mail packages that often, but when I do, I'll definitely be going here again. Probably one of the best post office experiences I've ever had.

I am a “frequent flyer” at this post office and I have had the WORST experiences with a lady named “Debbie.” In the past I have used app called Poshmark to sell & ship items. Everytime I have came in for my business I have been treated disrespectfully by Debbie, as if I am an inconvenience with my packages. It has made me so uncomfortable that I have had to go out of town to ship my packages.

Route driver gives you missed delivery form that has option to assign a representative to go to the Post office to pick up a package for signature and post office refuses to give package to my assigned representative. They are into day 4 of holding my prescription hostage and I can't afford to take a half day off work because the counter person can't read their own form! Spent two separate calls on hold with USPS for over an hour each with no response to file a formal complaint against the postmaster or have my package released to my authorized representative.Dont understand why a rural post office, that generally gives you more personal service because of the population it serves, seems to fail.

"Debbie" is one of the most distasteful humans to ever have to have any sort of encounter with. She is completely rude, has absolutely no right to be working in any sort of customer service position at any level, has a temperament of a DMV employee, and has a face for radio. Get your PO Box and mail service handled anywhere else. The Wellington Post Office is an absolute zero star service. This witch is a total nightmare.

The Contract carrier for my address is rude, argumentative, mis delivers mail/packages, I have missing mail & pkgs, have proof of gps coordinates if mis del pkgs but according to carrier” she doesn’t make mistakes” I understand mistakes,she needs to own them, learn from the. & try to make it right, not be rude to me, get mad at me & argue. If you bring anything to her attention or have a po request she gets upset. Never had a problem with po or carrier until I moved here & have here as my carrier.

Theft from this post office.Some time ago a Douglas County sheriff deputy came to my doorstep returning stolen mail. I was unaware of the issue until they brought a rather good sized stack of mail back to me... they were cagey about who the perp was and provided no other details about the theft.Concerns about my mail continue with this facility and, I suspect, it suffers from an internal issue vs an outside contract carrier. I've seen internal theft before because I ran a mail facility in California where management level people took goods and mail from our customers. Hard to catch.If you suspect that your mail is being intercepted, stolen, lost, thrown away, or cast aside by this facility please post your experience. More to come....
