I’m definitely switching my pharmacy, I think they secretly take my refills on my certain medications and I am unable to fill my prescriptions here when it is Doctor ordered… This is the THIRD time now and I guarantee I’ll NEVER get my refills which just “disappear” somehow. Hmm.. pretty weird. Not letting it happen again.

I had just moved back to Reno after 13 years in Henderson/Las Vegas. I called this pharmacy before my move to discuss my medications and situation with my 2 doctors. 2 days after I arrived in Reno, I visited the pharmacy to show them my medications and make sure they could fill before my doctors sent electronically. They said no problem and were very friendly. Unfortunately, when I called to find out when I could pick up my medications, they said I couldn't get them filled there, even after my doctor talked to them for over an hour. My doctor is an anesthesiologist, high-risk OBGYN, specialty in discomfort of the body and mind, and specialty in addiction. Then they pushed me to see their doctors and a psychiatrist for $ 700!!! They clearly don't understand how personal healthcare is. When someone finds an excellent, intelligent, compassionate team of doctors who provide exceptional care, I am not going to leave my doctors to pay more money to start over with a medical professional that I may not feel as though they care about my health. This horrible situation this place put me through was unnecessary and felt more about money than my personal health. Their clinic employee was very rude and had no compassion. While I was quietly crying from the stress and anxiety the pharmacy just put me through, he would tell me that I needed to control my emotions. I continued to apologize for that I can't help but cry for how I was just treated, and I was crying as quietly as I could. The person continued to tell me crying was an unacceptable way to behave. I wasn't sobbing ever so loudly or shouting. I don't understand how a business that is supposed to be helpful, understanding, and compassionate doesn't properly treat people, especially being employed in the field of health CARE. Instead, I experienced a manipulative, greedy business that treated me and my highly qualified, respected medical team with discrimination. This business didn't prove to care about my health but about how much money I could provide them.

Meds are always on hold or not in stock, takes weeks to fill antibiotics, inhalers, topical cream some have to be ordered so makes it hard to treat illness

WARNING: We went there this afternoon to pick up some over-the-counter medication we near those and found out that they do not do retail sales. You cannot walk in and buy anything, you have to order through your insurance carrier. Be careful, pictures seem to be misleading.

Well-Care Pharmacy is an interesting anomaly as far as pharmacies go. It was established about 2 years ago primarily to service the needs of patients often struggling with mental health issues, physically disabling injuries and long term homeless.Beyond just being a pharmacy, Well-Care is a community based enterprise which provider medical care, psychological sessions & even low cost group housing for clients needing these types of services. So, hence a pharmacy catering to their patients, delivery is also only a part of a seemingly needed & viable service in Reno, NV.Opening during COVID-19, the doors have not been open to the public for in-store shopping.Once Rx are electronically received by the pharmacy, they are readied & patients notified of a pickup date, delivery is offeredOnce at the door, a buzzer & phone number are posted clearly on the door. Should they be ready, a wait time of 5 minutes is average. Waiting in one's car will become necessary as temperatures drop & there is not any protective area for patients at this time!
