My 1992 car died and on recommendations from 'friends', I took my car here for a diagnostic check. The repairs needed were more than the car was worth. And in lieu of the cost of checking everything on my car, Brad suggested I just sign the title over to him. Ok, he was a good friend of 'friends', so I trusted him, and them. Two months later I received a bill from a tow company for $630.00 for towing from Valhalla Auto and storage. This is AFTER I signed the title over to Brad six to eight weeks prior. WHO DOES THIS??!! This screams SCAM!!Services: General repairs & maintenance

Took my car in for diagnostic check and was told it was ney repair; I agreed as the car is over 30 years old. In lieu cost of service performed, owner suggested I sign title over to him; I didn't have a problem with that so I did. About six to eight weeks later I received a bill from a tow company for $630.00 for tow fee from Valhalla Auto and storage at the tow yard. Also received a notification from DMV saying said car was not insured; insurance was cancelled 7/15/2022 as I no longer owned the car. DMV fines were about $200 to $500. This company's owner did the same thing to a friend of mine about six months prior. He is not finishing the title process then having the same tow company, etc. come after the PREVIOUS owner for fees and fines. This company's owner is doing SCAMS on people and not doing the legal process of titling cars. This company needs to be investigated for 'shady' dealings.

Car work previously done here. Went to get service records to see what was needed coming up. Was told owner is only one that knows where records are and he doesn't come in anymore usually. They don't answer the phone usually either.

Brad "The Owner" is an Expert Automotive Engineer. He can build cars from the ground up and knows cars (especially vintage vehicles) like the back of his hands. He does things as simple as oil changes up to rebuilding motors and full drive train restoration. His prices are very reasonable but the most important part, you can trust him, he will not do work any work that is not required, he is honest and reputable. Ignore those other reviews.... they are usually people that want "FREE" work and will complain about anything! He can fine tune a 2018 SS Camaro......or re-build the top of an old 90 Dodge Ram D-150 and change out a bad clutch. Come here, you won't be sorry! There is NOTHING this guy can't do.....known him for a LONG TIME :-)

Do not use this shop. I spent A LOT of money here and got burned. They seem like nice old school mechanics. But they will smile while they lie to you and pretend to be "on your side". You don't know me, but you can trust me more than them. Do yourself a favor...there are a lot of other shops in this town. Choose one. Better explanation forthcoming...

First, I should say my auto knowledge is extremely limited. I called Valhalla for a quote on new ball joints on my truck. I read that they commonly start falling apart as they go up in miles and I have been abusing my truck recently.I spoke to Brad about the quote. He was extremely patient and took time out of his day to help me learn about my vehicle. He saved me a bunch of money and I will be calling Valhalla for all my future repairs.

Val Halla - Another positive review. Had Brad check out the loud left wheel area sounds. At first he thought it would be a new bearing = about $350.00. When he went to do the job he discovered a loose wheel that was not torqued tight = $50.00.These guys are amazing. Highly recommend. Dr. G
