it was only makeup artist there and she mess up on my foundation she keep putting white foundation she try 3 different time and still wasn't able to still get it right smh so only left with eyeshadow and eyebrows never go back

I never feel comfortable in this Ulta..the women act like you are inconveniencing them when u have a question, sure they'll help but they want to upsell you on something you didn't ask for. and they hurry up with you when there's another customer with a question. Not friendly at all and all of a sudden the prices are like Sephora.. I'll just buy my stuff on eBay!

So Ulta, I’ve been to your store maybe 4 times at best , tonight being my very VERY last time I walk into such nonsense. From the front door to the curling irons I was approached by three different sales associates wandering aimlessly around the store apparently looking for shoplifters that they couldn’t do a God damned thing to if they wanted too. It’s overkill. It’s nonsense. Not every person who walks through the front door has the intentions on stealing from your store. Besides that, internal theft accounts for atleast 67% of the stores losses to begin with. Probably should focus more on your employees rather than running your legit customers out the door. I am sorry that the 3rd associate who approached me got the brunt of how I felt about being hounded to death, but there truly comes a point where enough is enough. Let a customer look at your product and make some decisions. And I’m not talking about me . The damage is done and has been done too many times. Your store is not that wonderful and fabulous that you need to be featured on Rodeo Dr. I will suggest, promote and encourage any and all of my friends and family to go to Sephora from here on out.

As soon as I walked in, Samantha welcomed me to Ulta. She could see I was lost and made herself available for me to ask a question even though she was the only cashier handling a busy line. Ulta can be an intimidating place for a guy, so it meant a lot 🙏 At checkout, she was so friendly and personable which is uncommon these days. I would have definitely given her my number to sign up for the Ulta rewards, but I work for the CIA, so I had to politely decline 🙃😎🤣 I don’t usually leave reviews, but good service should be recognized.

As I'm making my third and fourth appointment at the Beauty Salon & Benefit Brow Bar
I have to give this Ulta a huge shout out!
From the kind, knowledgeable, friendly Beauty Advisors to the Salon and Brow Bar! I've been seeing Cheyenne ? for my hair coloring, cut and style. I can't say enough kind words about her. She listens to what you'd like to have done and you absolutely can tell she cares about her work and importantly you. I suffer from hair loss and was worrisome to see a new stylist as I feel self conscious. Like I said she makes you feel very comfortable. My hair hasn't been nor felt this happy & healthy for a long while. I can't recommend her enough!
I've also been seeing Kayla for my Brow laminations & tint. She is a Brow Wizard
She is most kind and let's you fully know what to expect at each step. She leaves me with an absolutely perfect laminated look. And my brows are horrid to deal with! She knows all the types of brows we have out there! Just go!
This location has a great assortment of cosmetics and skin care. I had some extra time at my last appointment and decided to take advantage of the Hair event. I was looking for the new Lolavie hair paste. They looked like it was out of stock, however a kind Beauty Advisor quickly looked it up on her scanner & boom she was right back with a full supply of it. Everyone is genuinely happy to help. As a person who cares about great customer service this location has it.
I often speak to the manager, Lisa ✨️ at this location. I always find her kind, happy & most helpful! She's usually zooming around the store to help customers or her employees. I mustn't miss the fact of the cleanliness of this location! They actually pride themselves on having a clean, well kept and clean! Yay! I believe you can find nearly anything you're looking for here. Having many unfortunate experiences at my local Ulta locations here in California. I'm beyond ok and happy traveling to Reno to see the smiling faces at this Ulta for the best experience all around!
More locations could take a page or two from this Ulta!

I usually have a good experience at this Ulta but was extremely disappointed by my latest visit. Tons of staff but they were all sitting around gossiping, then when I went to check out there was a younger girl checking me out - she didn’t listen to me and repeatedly asked me questions I had just answered (I got asked if I was using my credit card 5 times) and then proceeded to curse loudly when the system wouldn’t work and couldn’t process my refund correctly. Whole experience was very unprofessional

I’ve only shopped here a few times. I do not like to give out my phone number. When prompted by the cashier to give a number, I politely declined. The cashier immediately shifted her demeanor and began telling me, “we don’t sell your data.” I continued to decline. She huffs at me several times and I tell her, “I just don’t feel comfortable giving it out.” And she huffs again and starts to talk over me. This interaction was incredibly off putting. At no point did I do anything besides politely decline giving my phone number. I understand employees may be penalized, but there was no reason for treating me like that while I was attempting to retain my privacy. This entire interaction was on the heels of pressuring a girl younger than I to sign up for the stores credit card. The girl said no multiple times and sounded very uncomfortable. At the end of their interaction, she said “it’s not too late to change your mind.” Apparently no does not mean no to this stores employees.

We stopped in today, and Angelica was awesome. She really helped my wife feel as beautiful as she looks as our anniversary is just around the corner. Great conversation and great results. Already scheduled her follow up.
