Very positive experience at the paint department. The representative went out of his way to make it a good experience. My paint was mixed and ready in minutes, given the pourable spout as well as the wooden stirrer and can opener. My paint was tested on the top and dried to show the exact color was correct. He also let me know that Home Depot will also save the colors that you purchase in their system under your name. Nice! Busy time and I had the painters already in my home so appreciated the speedy and efficient service! Not to mention I love Behr paint, can always find the color and finish I want.

This Home Depot sits right to I-80 in Northwest Reno, but you need a road map to find it once you exit the freeway at the West McCarran exit. The store is clean but short staffed. It just wasn't my day, as they were out of stock on all 3 items on my shopping list. Ending up at their competition's big box store, they had all 3 items in stock at slightly better prices.

Paid over 13,000 for new windows. The contractor they hired did a horrible job. Window leaked, broke my soap dish in my bathtub from standing on it, got caulking all over my new paint job, broke my kitchen tile, left me with unpainted uneven trim, they broke a window so I had to wait 3 months for a new one.

I ordered custom blinds and we(them/me) had reversed the measurements on the width and height, since it was a special order, refunds are not allowed. The returns cashier, blinds/curtains specialist, and manager(needed to approve the return) we're all amazing. This Home Depot goes above and beyond to take care of their customers. I never hesitate to buy from this store because if I need to take something back, these guys have a lot of empathy and treats each transaction case by case and makes judgements that go beyond store policy. Thank you store 3311! Your team rocks!!!

For review purposes, I think it is fair to compare Home Depot locations to each other. And this location has always been reliable for us.We moved to Reno 10 years ago from Southern California. It was always a stressful experience when I went to the Home Depot near our old house. Before, I could rarely find someone to assist me and if I did they typically made me feel they were put out and/or didn't have an answer. The first time I stepped into this Reno location, it was a completely different experience! I had SEVERAL people asking me if I needed help - I didn't need to seek out anyone! And if they didn't know the answer to my question, they would go out of their way to find an answer. Over the years, my visits here have always been positive. The people are friendly and helpful. And the store is kept neat and pretty well stocked. My only minor complaint is that I wish they had a tap option to pay at the self-checkout stations. I imagine that change will come with time. After coming here a couple times just this week, I realize I need to give them a shout out! In particular, to Logan in the paint department! He patiently helped me both times and knew exactly what I needed for two separate DIY jobs. After following his directions, our mailbox looks brand new!

No interest in helping really, everything is half done. We ordered same day delivery for a couple LED bulbs. They dropped off the wrong order at our house- patio umbrella. Packing slip showed the correct delivery address which wasn't my home.My wife called to let them know. They could care less. Did not offer to come pick up the item snd get us the correct one. I drive over the next morning to do the exchange. Amazing.

Rented the flat bed truck for an hour and was upcharged for fuel on return even though I put fuel in the truck. They claimed it was at a higher level when it was rented but that was based on supervisor checking the vehicle and saying it was at 7/8 tank at first. When I returned it they claimed it was 13/16's, even though I drove less than 16 miles and actually put in 1.5 gallons. They method of verification lacked accuracy and logic. They also claimed there was no way to reverse the charge after the rental was finished, although they could have stated this before completing the transaction as I returned the vehicle 15 minutes early. Dishonest, unhelpful, disappointing experience.

Came here to do some shopping and and we came in to do a purchase thru phone. Seemed like no employee at the store wanted to do it because no one was at the stand and when we went to ask an employee she was very rude about it saying "THERES NO ONE THERE TO DO IT" . (this employee was doing nothing but standing there with another employee and talking the whole time so i didn't really even bother her if anything that's her job.) so then we had to take all of the 3 full carts of wood to the other side of the store to customer service where we were serviced with a lady named Dolores. Now Dolores also seemed mad that we wanted to do a phone sale. She seemed very bothered by our presence. Basically was talking to us in a very rude way. Needless to say I will not be returning to this home depot location even tho it was our closest option i would rather go farther to never experience this service again.

I can understand why this store has a 2.5 rating. I went to return a Microwave that was damaged, still in the box. It had been delivered on Thursday 7-14, being a contractor we don,t always install appliances at delivery time. Thursday 7-21 we opened the box to install it and the glass was shattered. I took it back to the store for a return. I was told by a clerk to call the delivery company. They told me the store had to return it. Went back to the store asked to see a manager. Was told in a stern voice after 48 hours no returns. Well this might be your policy, but as a general manager in the hotel business for 30 years I was taught if the policy doesn't create superior customer service, then change the policy!! This is not superior service but poor service. The manager could have approached it with an offer to give 20% off a new one, $100 gift certificate or as I would have done taken it back and give a new one. This $200 mistake on your part will cost you at least ten fold from this contractor.

Not sure why this HD has only 2.5 average because the people working here are always insanely helpful and happy to help. I have used HD for many things from painting, fans, lights, gardening, creating my own water cooling tower, and even renting a flatbed truck. They have always gone above and beyond here. Even the younger high school kids who truly seem to enjoy their jobs at HD. Every time I have a project and need that extra bit of help realizing it, the staff here are excited to talk through the project and give input on which supplies I will need.

Checking out us always a hassle. The teens at the self checkout are more interested in finishing their conversation than helping the customers needed.

Worst customer service rep ive ever delt with BC is his name, made my wife cry after screaming at her to get a propane tank out of the building. Heres a tip get some competent sales people who understand what you are asking forfirdt then post that full propane tanks cannot be taken into customer returns instead of screaming at people. We wont be back to home depot card canceled

Jack and Paul saved the day. Our project was going the wrong direction. Jack suggested we should go a completely different direction with our project, Paul agree. They took the time to show us exactly how to do that. It worked out perfectly. It may have taken a little longer but it was well worth it. The snow is no longer a problem. Thanks Jack and Paul Home Depot. If you see Jack or Paul at the store please let them know about this post.

I feel like it is so easy to report the negative about places. Too many people want to share a bad experience so the good ones seem to fall away. I went to Home Depot on Virginia street today and had the most amazing experience. I was checked out by the kindest and most amazing person named Dylan. He was more than diligent and attentive. I lost my keys and he offered to watch my cart while I tried to find them. The manager James double checked if I had found them! The customer service here is absolutely top notch! They should help with other stores customer service. I am grateful for all the time and consideration they provide!

DO NOT PURCHASE FLOORING INSTALLATION THROUGH HOME DEPOT!!!! See reviews for thier installer, Romanoff Renovations for more info. Home Depot subcontracts all installtion to Romanoff Renovations, an excuse-filled, lazy, uncommunicative nationwide subcontractor. Romanoff schedules the appt's, Romanoff fails to come when scheduled, Romanoff makes up excuses, Romanoff doesn't come back after the first day, etc. HOME DEPOT HAS LOST ALL CONTROL OVER THIS SUBCONTRACTOR AND MAKES HOME DEPOT CUSTOMERS MANAGE ROMANOFF'S LOUSY WORK ETHIC! I purchased flooring in December and Romanoff showed up for one day of a three day job. They tore out my bathroom floor and toilet and never came back. It's 2/28/22 and I've been without a bathroom floor and toilet for over a month. Home Depot has not been able to get Romanoff back on the job. This isn't bad service- it's disgusting, dreadful, unethical service that Home Depot refuses to remedy. I want to say that staff at HD is really nice, but thier hands are tied to the national contract with Romanoff. The HOME DEPOT CORPORATE OFFICE DOES NOTHING TO RESOLVE THE WRETCHED SERVICE BY ROMANOFF RENOVATIONS. Romanoff is well beyond breach of contract, yet corporate continues to let HD stores sell flooring installation that are never completed. DO NOT PURCHASE FLOORING INSTALLATION THROUGH HOME DEPOT!!!
