I am updating my review as they finally called me back to fix the issues in my prior review. I'm glad they finally fixed their mistake of selling me a service I ready had, but it's just unfortunate that it took them 2 weeks to get back to me despite numerous attempts on my part. I hope I don't have any more snafus with dolan toyota as they typically are great and quick to respond.

Literally the worse car buying experience I have ever had. They lied to me every step and as soon as I signed they suddenly changed everything they had previously stated. Am filing a lawsuit because of how awful they are. Do not believe a word comes out of their mouth and do not purchase so much as an oil change from these con artists.

My husband and I have been searching for a 4Runner for months and every person, place we would go to they either sold the vehicle or just were trying to scam us so we finally just decided to go to Dolan Toyota to just go look, I fell in love with the black midnight metallic 4Runner, I said to my husband this one is it this one is meant for us I want it! Sure enough Wyatt was standing next to it and introduced himself to us, from then on everything is history, Wyatt helped us not only that but made us feel welcomed and appreciated he went above and beyond and that right there is amazing he would occasionally check on us to make sure we were doing well, i personally appreciate that service and so does my husband we are truly grateful that Wyatt helped us because he is so amazing with communication and professionalism, we're so glad we purchased our 4Runner from Dolan, thank you all for doing what you do and I think I can speak for some or all when I say, Dolan is an amazing and excellent place to purchase your dream vehicle or for someone whom you love, so thank you for all you do!

Wish it could be zero stars. I dropped $1700 on a repair of my truck and then they tell me my battery is no good and they need to jump it to get it started. It was working great before I brought it in and they even started it twice while I was waiting to get it serviced. So what happened to it in their care? I figured I would get the truck and go buy my own battery but then I picked up after service hours and it was outside dead. I asked one of the people who were still in the service center if I could get a jump and he went in like he was gonna find someone. He never returned. So I had to have my wife come and give me a jump. This place is horrible and I will drive to the Carson City Toyota next time.

Had a reservation set for today, and no one was able to help me with a simple rental reservation. Not a single person is trained to do a simple process. Didn't even offer a single solution. "Idk why they let you do that shit" is not the answer I needed. Come on guys, do better.

shady dealings @ DolanIn short do not go there skip the convenience if you live in Reno go to Carson or over the hill to Roseville. They will lie to you and do not care about you or your journey. In long: Your good buddy product specialist Oscar Bravo will flat out lie. I went into Dolan to buy a new truck, what I wanted was not in on the lot so one was selected from the list of incoming trucks. Which happened to be almost exactly what I was looking for. I put cash down and was told it would be in, in a month and a half. I contacted Oscar after 3 weeks to check on the truck, it was not there. two weeks went by and a different associate contacted me and told me it was being built out, so I thought it would just be a few weeks longer than expected. I reached out 3 weeks later 1 month and 3 weeks total. Oscar said your truck has been sold!!! The truck had arrived on the lot July 13, sold on July 15. I was then lied to and said they reached out to me, which he (Oscar) did not at all, at no point did he ever reach out to me. Not only that but they kept my cash deposit. Two weeks after the truck I had put money down on was sold they had not returned my money. It took me going into Dolan to get my money back. GO ELSE WHERE TO BUY A VEHICLE SHADY, SHADY DEALING AT DOLAN!!!!BTW I am not some one off upset customer, I bought from them 3 years ago, only had my vehicle serviced there, was going to trade my current vehicle in there, and planned on buying from them again. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Embarrassing service. I need a replacement key for my spare tire to be able to remove it from the underneath of my LandCruiser. Thought it would be a simple thing for the parts department at Toyota. The parts department told they couldn't figure it out and that I would need to pull my car in to the service bay. Seemed strange for such a simple thing, but I followed their guidance and pulled in to have the service people take a look. A whole team of people came to greet me and get me checked in. Seemed like overkill, but I was happy I would get my key. I watched from the waiting area as person after person looked at my car and moved it around to different areas of the service bay for over an hour. I finally had to get up and go out there to ask them what was happening. They informed me that they figured out which key I needed and would be ordering it for me. This took another 30 minutes. I requested that the part be sent directly to me, but they said they could not. I was told the part would take less than a week to arrive and I would get a call when the part came in. A week and a half later after not hearing anything, I called and was told that the part wasn't in yet and only that I had to wait longer. Again, I was assured that I would get a call when they received it. After another week and a half of waiting, I called again. This time I was put on hold and told that my part had arrived almost 2 weeks earlier, but that someone put it into store stock instead of treating it like the special order that it was and that's why no one called me. This was very frustrating to hear, but at least my part was finally here. I came to pick it up the next day before another issue happened. When they handed me the part, it looked wrong but I was told it was the right part and that it would work. I took it home only to find out the next day that it was indeed the wrong part. Although the key pattern was correct, the key was to remove a keyed lug nut and not my spare tire. I called today and talked to someone and explained that the wrong part was ordered and I need them to order me the correct part. I was then told the only way to do that was to have the service team look at my car again. I explained that we already knew which part was needed, we just need to order it. However, I was told that for my safety and the safety of others, the only way I can get the correct part reordered was to come back to Toyota and start at the very beginning. Beyond frustrated here. Its almost impressive to think how many separate breakdowns occurred by different employees for a $30 part.

Dolan family, thank you for being the most reliable best car dealership in Reno. We have purchased 5 vehicles within the last 10 years. We are very happy with our vehicles. Best customer service in all Reno! I have been driving Toyota since I became a driver in my teenage years. We have purchased two RAV4s, one Camry, one Corolla and a Tacoma all brand new. Once my teenage daughter becomes a driver we will be buying here. Toyota is known for their safety and reliability and of course the value vehicles hold. We love the customer service and the efficiency this dealer has to offer. Salesmen are very polite and don't force anything you don't want or like. My kids love coming here for the snacks! All of our cars get serviced here for all needs which include our oil change, tire rotation, new tires, window tinting. We recently visited on April 26,2023 for my vehicle service on my RAV4 and to potentially purchase a 2023 Sequoia. Thank you to our service advisor Christian G. for getting us in and out in a timely manner. We love that Toyota offers free Uber transportation to and from their service department. My car feels like new again! A tiny bit bummed I didn't receive my complimentary car wash that we opted in for but totally okay. Also, huge thanks to the salesman that gave us a rundown on purchasing a sequoia. We are still in utter shock that there is a waitlist for this car. $500 down to be put on a waitlist! Who knew?! We fell deeply in love with the green sequoia that unfortunately was not for sale. Thank you Dolan family for continuously going above and beyond fulfilling customer satisfaction.

Ordered a new Rav 4 over 8 months ago. Was told we could take delivery four months later. We were about 100 on the list. Checked back in three months and was told we were number 35. Checked back after 7 months, manager said we were number 1 on the list! Yea? Not so.Rep called us multiple times to upgrade us. Surprise! We turned them down holding out for our choice. We suddenly went from 1 to 200 on the list. Cancelled order, they are up selling and wait time ridiculous unless you spend more. Shame on them

Even though I purchased my 4Runner from Carson City Toyota. I started using Dolan for service shortly after. Much sooner appointment availability and the staff in service dept is top notch! If you're looking to purchase a Toyota and deciding between Reno and Carson City. Go with Reno!! Definitely use this place for your service! I've always received great service and they always wash my car as a courtesy! Nice perk!

bought a 2017 toyota tundra from dolan traded in mt 2018 tacoma what a mistake with this dealer when i recived the truck had a brand new scratch across the fender they said they woul take care of it when i left with the truck found out that the antenna was missing also thensiad the did an pre inspection and said everything was good it wasnt all 4 tires out of balance all 4 rotors were ewarped called the front desk and talk to one of the guys and i asked them and his comment was well its a used truck i asked so you,don verify the issues this dealership is one of the worst i have dealt with and will never go ack the people that nswer the phone dont care now i can see what other people are talking about thaey are jerks

I continue to appreciate the conscientious, customer oriented people who work at Dolan Toyota. This time, I had problems with the charger for my plug-in hybrid Prius. Since they wanted to keep the car until 5:30, I was offered a ride to my home which I accepted. Their waiting area is also customer oriented with comfortable chairs and two long tables that can accommodate a total of six people and that have outlets to plug in phones, laptops etc. I made use of it when I returned to the dealership. The outstanding service people this time were Truth, with whom I had a wonderful conversation about his name, and Logan. Both were excellent. Both are young and probably headed to higher positions in the organization. I was particularly impressed by Truth. I've been to many Toyota dealerships in the many years that I've owned Toyotas. All have been nice,but none would measure up to Dolan Toyota!

The staff at Dolan Toyota are so friendly and very helpful. We went in with a fixed purchase amount and they worked around the amount we could afford. If your ever in need of a car give Dolan Toyota a try you will not be disappointed!

I was looking for a new truck, and decided to check out Dolan Toyota. As I was walking through the lot with my wife, we were greeted by Rusty. No pressure, just asked if we had any questions. After we browsed a bit, we saw some trucks and found Rusty to ask about them. He took us inside and showed us around the website to look at what they had in our price range. He was very friendly and helpful. Tyler came and checked on us, as it was Rusty's first sale. Tyler helped Rusty guide us through the pricing process, and once we agreed on payment terms, we went into Nate's office. Nate walked us through the paperwork, and gave us a great deal on a warranty, as the factory warranty had expired. All three of these gentlemen were great to work with, very knowledgeable and helpful, and zero pressure. They all did everything in their power to get us a truck at our price point and at a monthly payment that worked for us. We will definitely be back when it's time for a new car or truck!
