Beautiful, clean room, convenient location, good breakfast spread in the morning before heading to Tahoe to ski!Only downside (minus one star) is that they seemed to be understaffed and we had to go down to get towels and cutlery. A very minor inconvenience, but still a bit frustrating.All in all, I highly recommend staying in Reno instead of Tahoe as it was so convenient and a nice drive to/from Tahoe in the morning/evening.

Let me start by saying I have been a loyal Marriott member for 13+ years now, even when the company I work for wants us to use another. Many times I stay at a Marriott property when the rest of my sales team stay at Hilton... which makes it difficult to coordinate travel plans. Doesn't matter I make the adjustments and if I have to walk over to their hotel to meet before heading out for the day I do it just to stay loyal. That may change due to this property..I booked a stay that was to begin on 4/14, something came up and I needed to move that stay forward a couple days to 4/17. I called the Corp number, as I have done for a decade, to make the changes - as normal I was told "not a problem, we have made the adjustments, have a great morning see you in a couple days". This service is why I continue to stay at Marriott, their willingness to accommodate my business schedule made them head and shoulders above the others IMO.Tuesday 4/16, I noticed on my Marriott App that I was checked in at the hotel and my stay was in full swing... Apparently someone at the property changed my stay back to the original date without my consent or knowledge and subsequently I have been charged a "no show" = the full amount of the supposed stay. I spoke with a member of their team today and was informed that they in fact "do see the reservation date change, but sorry nothing we can do to for you" I then left a VM for both the GM Cesar (?) and Sales Director Jaz (?) with zero return call, they both left it up to the frontline employee to handle --> Great Leadership Skills!Absolutely Amazing after this many years and total nights (below snapshot from the Marriott Bonvoy App) this is what I get for my loyalty... if you still continue to stay here when in Reno be warnedLifetime NightsTotal Nights:593Lifetime StatisticsYears as Silver Elite:13Years as Gold Elite:11Years as Platinum Elite:10

Nice business traveler hotel but has many amenities that would appeal to other travelers and families with children including an indoor pool and Spa.A hot and cold breakfast buffet is included, which is nice. It's very conveniently located just off 395/580, making travel to other parts of Reno and Sparks super easy! Lake Tahoe is also easy to get to for skiing and hiking.

A hotel is just a hotel; the staff can make or break a person’s experience. Carlos made my experience exceptionally memorable. While checking, he thanked me for being a Marriott rewards member. Carlos then went into the specifics of the surrounding area. Carlos made the check-in seamless and pleasant. The hotel is located in a good location. There are restaurants within walking distance, as well as a gas station/convenience store all within walking distance. The hotel also has drinks and food available and a bar. My stay here was exceptional, and it was a great break from cigarette smoke in casinos. Favorite Hotel chain! Prices are right, The rooms are suites, free breakfast and a great gym.Noteworthy details: Great gym for a hotel! Dumbbells and a bench, treadmills, elliptical, and a adjustable cable machine.

We showed up about 2pm on Mar 28th and Manager on duty was rude right off the bat. We told him we have an Affirm account and that is how we will be paying, he said (oh we don't take that). Could have atleast respectfully got more info on it and tryed. It is on the Marriotts website. Our card declined and he was even more rude an left to back. Affirm just timed out for purchase. We spent $458 for 3 days. Its alot of money be treated like that like he judged us the sec we walked up. We used this hotel pretty often cuz we love the rooms and beds.

Convenient location by the highway, newly renovated rooms, really good service with empathy from the front desk (only minor complaint, they are hard to reach sometimes)
